I'm not sure what's next in the line for the natural progression of my Sheps relationship with this Conrad character as in first game I aimed a gun at his head and in second I shot him in the leg. Maybe in third game he will go down for good? *dreams*

If you shoot him in the foot, he does die later. I remember hearing something about his tragic death (hit by something?) from the news broadcasts on Illium.

That has nothing to do with shooting him in the foot, that's the option you get later. You can shoot him and help him for the lulz.

That's not the same thins as shooting him in the foot. I've shot him and kicked him in the nuts, then went and done his mission to talk to the weapons merchant.
