Hey,
I just got through downloading, installing, and testing out what I could of Dragon Age: Origins -- Awakening, and I'm really pissed. When I started up the expansion, everything loaded up nice and smoothly, but the mobs were just standing there when my Warden and her party came up to try and attack.
Even when she attacked them, they just stood there and the combat didn't start at all. She'd hit them once, do a bit of damage, and then they'd regenerate their lost health without ever moving. To get around it, I ended up having to spam click the target until she could kill them or use the console to kill all the hostiles. The problem didn't stop there.
When I went and entered the room with Oghren, there was no cut scenes and the door behind him was locked. I tried to get my Warden to interact with Oghren, but he'd always grunt "Can't talk now! There's darkspawn to kill. We'll talk later." or something like that, and there'd never be any mobs that came and the door's still locked.
Since I thought it was maybe a problem with the importing, I tried it with six different end save games and even started a new PC. I ended up with the same issues.
P.S: I'm using the Steam versions.
Issue with Vigils Keep and Combat *Spoiler Warning, I guess?*

Same problem, with dorf unresponsive and can't find a key anywhere to open the door near him. Any ideas?

Having the same issue here. I've gone back and re-explored all available areas to see if I missed picking something up and nada. Nowhere to go and nothing else I can do to progress in the game. I am also using the Steam version.
ETA: I've gone through and poked around a few other forums and it appears that any old mods are the problem. I disabled all but official DLC in my game and now it appears to be working much better.

Using steam as well but had no such problem. Honestly the entirety of the expansion is ridiculously buggy for a supposedly finished product, just gotta power through it and save every few seconds.

Ugh...if you import old characters you have to force load if you disable the mods...grrr...damn you Bioware *sighs* guess I'll go through them one by one and see which is the culprit - thing is, most of my mods are cosmetic - i.e. hairstyles, eye colors, and I have an extra storage mod I'd hate to give up, but then again, it doesn't work in Awakenings.
