So you find a cat in the game and can actually pick it up and take it. Anders later tells you a story of how he had a cat he misses blah blah blah. Well when you look in your inventory that cat is now a gift. You give the cat to Anders and he names it "Sir Pouncealot" and he says he's gonna bring him a long and keep him in his bag. When I looked in my items "Sir Poncealot" was a useable item! LOL Has anyone used him yet?

Yes! SO FUNNY. David Gaider is my hero for writing Anders. Really. I probably sat there for 10 or 15 minutes last night doing that...

So I did that and I clicked on him and I didn't see anything? Like my character did the Beserk motion but that was about it. I play on the 360 has anybody else not seen whatever the cat is suppose to do?

I tried using the kittie once... nothing happened, but Anders wasn't in my group either. Maybe that's it?

Heh, it's cute, but I'm not going to lie- I was hoping it would turn into some fearsome mabari-esque sabretooth tiger. The letdown was a little hard.

Where do you actually find the cat? I've only seen the one on Amaranthine so far but I couldn't pick it up, alas...

Actually, I have my own suspicions.
When I dragged Sir Pouncalot down to Anders' hotbar and then took control of his character and "used" the item. He made some kind of casting animation and kitty appeared at which point anders said something like "I guess this makes you my familiar".
I haven't yet done a stat / skill comparison before and after casting him, but I wonder if there's a passive bonus whenever he's out similar to Familiars in the old D&D games.
Food for thought.
Cheers,
Koth
