We currently do not have access to any of the new stuff in the toolset. I am wondering if Bioware is planning on releasing a new version of the toolset that will allow us to use this. Anyone know or have any idea?
Are they going to update the toolset so we can use the models / items from Awakening?

I'm pretty sure they will; in the mean time it is possible to extract the contents of the Awakening erf files using the current toolset and place them in your module's override folder. That should allow you to work with the new content

Really? How do I do that?

Figured it out with a little experimentation. Thank you! :]
Just a note, playing as children in the main campaign is fun as HECK! They have so many cool abilities to play around with.

Awesome. I wasn't aware we could do this either! I expect it may be a few weeks at least before BW actually makes those resources available. Perhaps they'll come along with a patch!

Any guide how to extract and place them in your module's override folder?

After you extract the .erf files, in which override folder should the contents be placed?

er, actually everything I extracted from the resource erfs has been compiled and so cannot be edited.
ex) ncs not nss, and .dlg files that are tables, not dialogue trees.
These things are the B2P export and we need B2B export to work with... I extracted via toolset and by the erf editor, same thing.
Could anyone who was able to extract the erfs please advise? =/
edit: From reading what scant information is available from others, I am assuming that you can't actually use Awakening stuff in the toolset currently because then you would be able to release paid content to people who haven't bought Awakening (right?). Confirmation would be great...

I've extracted items, but the toolset refuses to save any edits I make to them: and I've confirmed this only happens with Awakening .uti files.

Emperor Iaius I wrote...

It's because the erfs only contain compiled files, essentially, so you cannot really edit them. We need a toolset update, sadly.
