While playing, I checked out my inventory and my Blood Dragon Armor's Chest wasn't there anymore. I'm pretty sure I didn't sell it to anybody, nor destroyed. I bought the other pieces of the Armor, but I'd really like to know if I can get my chest back.
I read that a lot of Noble Dwarf experienced the same issue, but my character is a Noble Human, so I don't know what to do. I already tried to disable the DLC and enable it again, to see if the item would have been there, but it was no use.
I checked the other Topic about the Product Key. But my Product Key is there, so I can't explain why my armor was deleted.
It really sucks, has anyone had the same problem? I need help!

DLC armor is gone for awakening. As designed. Check out Dragon Age Nexus for a mod that fixes this.

The original poster doesn't say anything about Awakening in his post.

^He is apparently not playing Awakening.

*Start->search files and programs->type ''services.msc''->Dragon Age: Origins->start automatically/start type: automatic->apply->OK.

*Disable your DLC from the Downloadable Content menu, then hit ok. Then load a game, force load, make a new save, enable the DLC you want again, hit OK, load your save. Everything should be back to normal. If you're playing a Dwarf Noble, these things happen. Anyway, now, the Blood Dragon Armor shall be in your inventory, the other parts you find from Bodahn Feddic in you party camp.

If you have any other question related to this, let us know.

Sorry. I did not take the time to read. I've simply seen an excess of complaints about the DLC armor going missing with the advent of Awakening, and since it is awakening release day I just carelessly assumed. Sorry!

@ iHNS

I did exactly what you wrote, but didn't work. As I said earlier, I'm no Dwarf, I'm Human. So there's no prison and theft of items, just my armor disappeared from my inventory, without selling or destroying it. I tried but there's no use. It's frustrating!! Thanks anyway for your kind attention. I'll write to EA and see if they can fix it by sending me back the DLC, for it won't make me download again with the same code.

Likely you were hit with the disappearing DLC bug.

First thing you should do if you haven't already is exit the game completely and restart. Without doing this the game doesn't get back its knowledge that you have the rights to the DLC. (And you likely still do, as long as it shows up on your http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php page, there's not much EA can do. They don't actually send you DLC, your game pulls it.)

After you restart, the armor should appear in your inventory again, and if it doesn't the method iHNS mentioned should work.

If you've already gotten Shale or done Warden's Keep or Return to Ostagar, this bug may have also screwed them up, and they're harder to recover from. See the DLC In-Game Errors FAQ for more information.

@ Kepha

I still didn't get Shale, or did the Warden's Keep etc. But my DLC is active, Levi is there, the places on the map are there.. the only thing missing is the Chestpiece of the armor in my inventory. And if I do like you said, forcing loading the game, when i save and load it back the DLC is active but I have no chestpiece and even the other pieces of the armor are gone. ='(

well i just got awakening today and i was both sad and lol at the same time when my main character had to fight nude with only a dragon slayer two handed sword fighting against the early swarm. i miss my blood dragon armor cuz it looks so sweet.

The harvest rings from "The Stone Prisoner" was hard to lose. However, I did retain "Duncan's Dagger" from RTO. Could it be that I laundered it through Boadin to make it Dragonbone.

Having the same problem as Morgan. I was a human rogue. I finally get about far enough into the game to use the armor (on Alistair) and it's missing.

The DLC is enabled fine. It even appears on previous saves from MANY hours ago and my other character. Tried everything you said to disable and re-enable and it never appears. No chest piece and no armor listed at the vendor to buy.

I doubt I'll ever buy a game from EA/Bioware again as long as they have this BS DRM. When I pay for a game I expect it to work. The sad part is - the pirates don't have to deal with this kind of crap.

...extremely annoyed.

I'm not sure this is a DRM issue. It seems to be a delibrate choice on the part of the designers not to include items from the other DLC in Awakenings.

I noticed the Blood Dragon Armor was missing from one of my Origins characters earlier today... interesting. Re-enabling the DLC doesn't fix it like it should. No big loss, considering there is way better stuff available, but it'd be nice to know where it went.

This sounds like a bug. The Blood Dragon Armour is good for, if nothing else, a nice 7 sovereign boost at the beginning of the game.

Guys, suddenly I lost also the other parts of the Dragon Blood Armor, without any reason. My main character was left with boxers among dragons. XD

So, no chest earlier, no parts at all now. Luckily I found some better armors, but anyway, it's not fair that we paid for a game and this happened. And the DLC content is active. Bah.. anyway,I'M NOT PLAYING AWAKENING. Not yet, I mean. The Dragon Blood Armor is not supposed to be in Awakening, EA already told that.

well if your dlc contents are missing then i probably from the latest patch cause like me the ewest patch seem to cause me more bugs than fixes. or at least it was for 1.02

I did some testing today. While the issue that can make the Blood Dragon Armor disappear isn't related to the latest patch (Disappearing DLC goes all the way back to the original release), I did verify that Patch 1.03 does make it so that the Force Load method to try and get it back doesn't work any more. Which is very unfortunate.

I will say that playing offline is the best defense against your Blood Dragon Armor and other DLC disappearing.

Thanks Kepha for your kind reliability =)

Oh well, I suppose that I will survive without Blood Dragon Armor. At least, Shale and the other DLC contents didn't cause any problem, yet.

Hoping that the next patch will solve the incredible number of issues of the last one.

isnt it strange that lately the patch are only balancing the game and add some new bugs? or its just me that thinks this.
