what the hell, man. I am stuck here too! no, it doesnt go away just by walking up to it. you know how much i gotta replay now? lame!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was teleported to the mountain top and I've defeaded the 'queen' but I can't get off the mountain top now... I can walk down the hill but the 'veil' is still there, blocking my way (clicking on it did nothing) and naturally I can't go to my map and leave.. I really don't want to have to restart.. =(

Sounds like a bug. The veil disapeared when I put her back together.

Had this problem, as well as events not firing for long periods (during the battle for amaranthine for instance).



My only solution was to run around the wall until I could get the event to fire. Took me like 2 laps, then the field went down.

The only related bug I had in this encounter was when during the fight my main got teleported off the mountain for some reason, I couldnt get back to the dragon and all 3 others got killed. I had to restore to right before the fight.



Peaple saying they had to restart their playthrough or lost several hours.. Don't you people take backups??

I think you have to finish the Baroness quest line first before doing the queen. You can disable the veil at the fade version of blackmarsh.

Luckily I did'nt have this bug. It would have ticked me to have beat the queen again.

yeh i'm stuck myself any one got any ideas with out restarting from an earlier point cause all i have is the auto save right after i beat the queen

In my playthroughs, I had to defeat the Baroness in the Blackmarsh town in order to get the key to the docks at the back of her mansion where the last piece of the dragon skull was located. Then I went to the dragon skull and put in all the missing pieces which caused the fade barrier to fall allowing me to go up to the mountain top where I defeated the Queen of the Marsh Spirit Dragon. This is the normal sequence of events. If you guys are using some sort of teleport mod or goofing it up somehow, then DOOM on YOU!! Otherwise, it might be some sort of bug. Perhaps you got grabbed by the dragon and thrown off the mountain top - I've read that this could cause some problems.

Ah, no . . . you're confusing this with the other Fade tears that are repaired while you were in the BlackMarsh Undying Fade.  This fade barrier that they're talking about here can only be brought down by re-assembling all the pieces of the dragon skull.  And you have to defeat the Baroness before you can get the last piece.
