Just finished Black Marsh... No complaints yet.. Very happy so far.

After reading this thread I was honestly prepare to dislike it. Turns out, that a lot of the bashing is just, I don't know, someone's expectations being out of joint. Maybe the thing isn't what you would have written, or what you've been dreaming of for the last months...but if you step back from what ever expectations one might have, and judge strictly on the merits...



I'm having a super time with it. I like all the characters. Sorry about theone that died. The Joining is dangerous, yes? And npcs who seem preachy or angry or whatever beforeyou know them can change and become altogether different from what you expect.



I say give it a try. There's so many sour grapes here one could make vinegar.

I HATE the opening of the game. Once you meet up with Alistair (or Anora) for all of two minutes it starts getting better and by the time I found Nathaniel I was enjoying it. Just...the opening. Why?

I afford to buy DLC.... but if I did pay for it and got what everyone's saying..... ouch.



Maybe DA2 will be much, much better? Plus isn't DLC supposed to be like.... an AU of events??

I dunno, I enjoyed Awakening for what it is, a expansion. All I know is, I have a baddddd feeling our character is done, and DA2 will be a new character. I hope not, but no epilogue save

i got the expansion for 30 bucks Aus including postage online. So regardless of what happens i got my value for money, or maybe not
