I just had an odd glitch a few days ago. I was landing on Metgos in the Hydra System and I was watching the normal bit with the Normandy dropping me off, but when that ended and I had control the Mako was a flaming wreck! The status/shield showed the entire Mako in the red and the Shields were down and the Mako graphic wasn't any prettier with flames and holes all over it. It wouldn't let me repair it (I had Tali and over 300 gel).
Has anyone else had that happen? I was so shocked by that I didn't think to try taking a screenshot of it and when I replayed the landing I wasn't able to repeat the scene.
Crashing the Mako on planetary landings?

possible that the physics engine just glitched and the Mako clipped through the ground and vibrated against it at a damaging collision rate. I had something like that happen once.
EDIT: I don't know about it not being able to be repaired, like I said, maybe it got stuck in the ground.

Maybe, I didn't try moving the Mako since it seemed one puff of air would cause it to go "Boom" and just returned to the Normandy. Be interesting to see if anyone else had that happen...

Obviously Joker rolled a 1 on his "Mako Away" check. XD
That sounds like a hilarious bug though. Wish I could have seen it.

Weird. Never came across that one. And I played ME1 to death and finished all the side quests multiple times.

Smooth move, ex-lax. You forgot to turn on the Mako's mass effect generator before deploying.

Sounds like a new difficulty level.

I had that happen once. Just return to the Normandy and re-land. The Mako also seems to fully repair between saves, so you can probably just save and load too.

Yeah, had to do that very thing to get the Mako fixed up. But it is weird and its happened to more than just me so it makes me wonder what causes it to occur to happen...
