I have been using mine for like 15 years. I wanted something amusing and somewhat ironic, and I figured sloths are about as far from doom as you can get. Of course, the common misconception on the DA boards is that it is in reference to the Sloth Demon from DA.
Somehow my explanation seems trivial next to Lilith's wall of text.
Oh, you MUST see this, then...
SLOTHS!
Silly Hulu isn't available outside of the US, but I know what clip you are trying to show me. Realy, really funny. A CSS server I used to play on had a snippet from that clip play whenever I joined the game.
It´s the name I use when I reenact and it makes me feel confortable among strangers. I keep others for closer people too, like everyone I guess.Mr.Skar wrote...

Is not a closed thread enough to tell you not to go on being mean and making a forum, that is most of the time nice, calmed and friendly a Tartarus again? Whatever, man, whatever, but it´s not fun at all.
For my part; Statulos is my "war name" and the closes version in Celtiberian to my actual real name. Unluckily, there´s a huge lack of knowledge about the ethimology of Celtiberian names and the few preserved words, but considering the links, we may suppose that the name has semitic connections and thus, it may mean "small one".
That's pretty cool. Seems like you (and others, like Lilith) put some real thought into your names. As opposed to, you know, using the same name they used for a video game character.

See, I used to do that. For years I went by Inanna elsewhere. Thing is, any name of significance is often already taken. Especially if it's drawn from any well known mythological figure. I dislike having to tack on numbers to my name just to use it too, so after awhile I decided not to bother. I agree on principle though. Those names tend to be more interesting; particularly if one recognizes their origin.
@Volus Biotic - You should let it go. Seriously. That mess is dead and buried. What you are doing now could be considered harassment if it persists.

Ok, my nickname ''Woldan'' dates back to Baldurs Gate 1, I was creating a new character and WOW!, it just popped into my head.
In every RPG I played since I used this name for the main character, I also try to make the characters look and behave all the same. (I am the char after all) So I actually play all RPG's with the same person.
And I tell you, this poor character went through some serious sh!t!

Name and initials. Considered flipping it to "Mr. C" but then I'd be mistaken for a man.
