Why didn´t you use that! I mean, the godess of love, the Morning Star (she was associated with Venus) and the most ancient name for the godess who become Isthar/Astarte with semitic influence is awesome.Seagloom wrote...

That's pretty cool. Seems like you (and others, like Lilith) put some real thought into your names. As opposed to, you know, using the same name they used for a video game character.
See, I used to do that. For years I went by Inanna elsewhere. Thing is, any name of significance is often already taken. Especially if it's drawn from any well known mythological figure. I dislike having to tack on numbers to my name just to use it too, so after awhile I decided not to bother. I agree on principle though. Those names tend to be more interesting; particularly if one recognizes their origin.
@Volus Biotic - You should let it go. Seriously. That mess is dead and buried. What you are doing now could be considered harassment if it persists.

I didn't use it because I was tired of it being taken everywhere. That and I disliked the idea of Inanna78 or some similar thing. For years I tacked on a 78 at the end of all my online accounts, whether it was Inanna or something else. I got sick of it. For once, I wanted a name that felt like my own, and without any numbers attached.

I dunno where i got my name...
But i know -Antichri5- if i find the n00bs who stole from me Sarevok, Irenicus, Jon Irenicus, Joneleth Irenicus and several real variations AND considering i havent even seen ONE of them ONCE, i will start a Deathbringer slaughterfest with their testicles (or the female variations) if i find them!
YOU HEAR ME???
I like it.after reading many of your posts and talking to you via pm I find it fitting in a strange kind of nice way!Seagloom wrote...
@Statulos - The ship has sailed. I'm comfortable with my current name. It isn't comparable to divinities maybe, but at least it's mostly mine.

It's not the November I object to, it's the Cousland.
When I was signing up, at one point I thought they were asking me what my current characters name was, for linking purposes. That wasn't what they were asking me.
After extensive research I have found that it is impossible to change your screen name. Even by deleting your account and making a new one (I did that.) Somehow it imports. Even with a different email address, go figure. So I'm a Cous forever.

Things you shuld not call yourself: "Cous". I mean, some people might thing it sounds like the beginning of 'Cousin" but that isn't how Cousland is pronounced so um....yeah.
