Awakening Bugs

Bugs
Game Crashes (might be memory leak, since I have Windows 7 64bit, or might be my sound card driver not updated) only has happened 4 times so far.
Both Justice and Sighrun approval sky rockets to 100 after one gift (though they are still neutral and not friendly/warm in the text) Also their approval abilities don't show in the skill page (though they do pop up after giving the gift.
Vigilance looked liked Starfang (which I initially thought was working as intended before coming here)
Female merchant loop.
Other than those three things the game seems to be running fine, hell even got the Helm of H which I expected not to import in from my DAO game.

not crashes and the like but still annoying in their own way.
1 you cannot renter the silverite mines, which sucks if you want to create the games ultimate weapon but went to the silverite mines first as the ingredient doesn't show up until you get the quest
2. Gifts. Ogren is acting like I already gave him tones of gifts at the start, which i did in origns. odd.
3. since the siege shows up so suddenly you cannot induct your last recruit into the the Grey Wardens. Oh and you don't have time to get to know the last companion. need extra quest here.
4. i couldn't find all of the ancient tree things, that could be me though
5. the rebellious noble side quest SUCKS. REALLY, BADLY. And yes this is a bug.

Later, in the epilogue, the slideshow contradicted this: the keep withstood the darkspawn attacks and survived, along with all the companions I left behind. It then went on to say what they all did after the battle. Yyyyyyeeeeeeeeah.

I think there are a number of item properties that are still not enabled or working properly. + to healing is one of them.
In that case, of course, these are not new bugs introduced by Awakening, just ones it has not corrected.
AFAIK, there were several "un-enabled" item properties from O that Awakening never "awakened," maybe that's coming in the next sequel/patch/expac.

I got a loop on the sound of an Ogre punching my Hero after Grab, even after the Ogre was dead! The sound effect persisted until I looted the corpse.

Yes, that's it, thank you sooo much! I just couldn't figure out why I was getting sonic boom sounds in my game. I think I'll get rid of "rally", It's "rally" distracting.

Also, without spoiling, if you turn in the quest to the innkeeper to open the tunnel, you're screwed. Even if you go around the innkeeper and do all the other quests, talking to the innkeeper to turn in a quest that does nothing anyway still screws you with the city guards.
And lastly, I found the above bug after buying the legion scout book, loaded a prior save to avoid the bug, and lost the book. The book was no longer available on the vendor, and since that's the only way to get the book, it is now lost to me forever. I'd have to start over to get it, and I'd rather not, I'll just uninstall the game and call it done.

If you still have the visual effects, I'd recommend Personal Annoyance Removal mod. It removes all or most of all those glittering effects from spells, auras and alike, and the bugged sounds too. The only one problem with the mod is that it deactivates Rally on area transitions but the cooldown is only 30 secs. Worthy the trade, imho.

You don't need the book. The spec should stay unlocked. If it isn't unlocked you have a glitch.

I also got animation glitches, including an animation switch for Arcane Shield, not to mention the annoying game stuttering that I didn't have before.

And my 2 unique skills from Warden's Keep are now labelled "Skill name not found".
