1. First error is just how much equipment gets ported over is rolling the dice. Most of the time my swords will not have runes in the sockets. 8 out of 9 times it ends up to be other equipment. So always check.
2. Also I notice with my rogues characters, even though they have higher stats than Nathaniel, they don't find traps like he can. Which I hate switching to him to find them.
3. When trapped in the mine, and they take your equipment. Sometimes my player doesn't even get a robe, which is a sign of bad things to come. Which means when you do come to the place where your equipment is in. drum roll...... ITS EMPTY. All equipment gone, except for the equipment your other party members had on. I would have to open a previious save and attempt it again. Sometimes it works.
4. This one bug I have an issue every freakin time. I will try not to give to much away for those who havent played this yet. But when you go back to the Warden Castle to save them. There is attacks, then cutscences, then more attacks. It goes thru this several times until you win against the attacks. But the things is. It is buggy as hell. It will have the cutscene. the attack will start. I will kill everyone that I need then it basically hangs up and doesnt go to the next sequence. You stand around.... I usually have to reload save point several times to get it to work on chance.
5. Lastly, I really like the fact that Bioware gave us the tools to make are own additions to this game. I actually received this game for PS3 as gift and I went out and bought the Deluxe PC version just for all this additional mods. But Awakenings without the romance or close connnection with your players. Totally blows. When it comes time when you have to make a tough choice. I almost want to light the fire on warden castle instead if I had that choice. Why? You really don't feel anything for party. It's not like you have :Leanna or other friends. Yes, usually my drunk buddy Oghren is with me.
6. I will say, equipment is better in Awakenings, the runes for your armor. hmmm. I suggest to sell most of your stuff in origins before you port. You need as much gold as possible. I spend over 1000 gold easily.
7. Alister makes appearance, even though I liked him in the first, you still almost want to punch him for coming in saying hi and goodbye. Sorry your in such trouble but I got to go.
8. When a party member dies at the freakin beginning, your like what the..... It is different then Origins in the fact this person fights with you side by side for the first bit. Plus they say its one of you r party members, but wrong. they die. Your stuck with people you don't know except for Oghren. Who in the most part will always have your back. Anders is my second favorite and even Nathaniel Howe turns out to be like able character. But come on with these tough battles. Everyone should be little tighter with one another. Enough to trust them. It would of been really nice that if you had relationship In Origins that they would show up in the latter battles to be with you.
All in all the new skills/spells is nice, some nice stories along the way. But I felt something is missing.

1. Accepted both quests from the smugglers and the guards of amaranthine. Persuaded the Barkeeper, went to the shady Person -> attacks me. Killed him, entered the cave, met the boss. Killed him. Smuggler Quest now marked as completed, got no reward. Went to the guardchief. Won't talk to me because I "helped the smugglers".
2. Bought the books for the 3rd spec in Amaranthine. Noticed Bug 1. Reload previous saved ( 3h wasted, but i guess i should have saved more frequently). Still all specs are unlocked. Hooray, i saved 40 souvereigns.
3. After I completed all Mainplots on the Mainmap, (in the order: Woods, Marsh, Hirol) I wasnt able to let Sigrun take the Joining, due to the fact that the Mainstoryline wanted to advance. Wasnt the joining (gaining "warden powers") the reason why Sigrun joined me after all? Also, Felsi appeared at the same time after I came back from the former dwarfen city, But Oghren refused to talk to me, only gave out his usual two "you-clicked-me" quotes.
Anyone else noticed these things?
What also bugged me is the fact that after I finished the intro, I noticed that my (former) companions equipment wasnt accessible. Sure this seems quite logical, but I think youll understand that with my next character, I'll undress everyone in the camp before I import into the addon. I dont buy insanely expansive daggers to lose them to somebody I wont meet anymore.<_<
EDIT²: Another Bug, graphical sort: If you use the 2nd arcane spell (arcane armor?) Its visioneffect will shift away the "visor" (dont know how to call that thing) of the Architect (most obvious in the final speech in front of the mother). Looks hilarious. Giant rectangle hole in his head instead of the visor. To say it in other words: The architect isnt effected from the effect, but the visor is.

I killed all smugglers in town. I destroyed the Threat at its deepest roots. May you can call it a "change of heart", but the reason why I call it a bug is the fact that the guard's quest is still active in the journal, waiting to be acknowledged.

Curious - I actually selected both quests, and if I went and sided with the smugglers, the guard's quest disappeared, if I did the guard's quest first, the smuggler's one was still active but when I went and checked with the dwarf "Can you open the passageway", he told me to get lost because I was threatening him or whatever and then that quest was flagged as completed and updated.Minzger wrote...

Ok, I wrote tech support...and here's what I got back...
Greetings Ron,
Thank you for contacting EA Games Support.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I would like to inform you that we are the customer support that's why we don't have such a deep knowledge about the programming of the game. All we can do is that just post your query in respective community on the forum so that the game developer could come across your in-game issue and provide you with the better solution. I hope you will understand this.
Official forums can be located at the below given link: -

Should you have any further questions, please take a moment to review our Knowledge Base site athttp://support.ea.com or let us know.
Thank You,

Got a question about *actually playing the game*? They tell you to go to the Tech Support forums here. Don't know if you've noticed the user/tech answer posting ratio there, but it's growing into the quadruple digits. The good news is those support forums are like some others in that very rarely another user can help you with your issue or point to a mod fix for it. Forget much 'official' help and all you'll see is 'thank you we're logging your issue'.
To me this seems very odd. It's a bit like calling Adobe tech support, telling them some aspect of Photoshop isn't working properly, and then being told they don't handle the actual operation of the software.
Now I know. This is a game. It's entertainment. People use Photoshop to do actual productive work. But others use it to put their head on somebody else's body. You can also do plenty of things with it that are, essentially, just entertaining.
The bottom line is, yes, I get it. It's just entertainment. Still, if I bought a DVD, and there was one segment of the movie that was all greenish and distorted, I wouldn't want to be told "well we don't handle the actual operation of your DVD, go contact the filmmakers".
For a multibillion dollar industry - yes gaming is getting huger than other forms of entertainment media, in case you haven't noticed - they ought to support their products a little bit better.

But yes it can be frustrating. And I know - because I did exactly the same thing myself with regards to an in-game issue, and got virtually the same reply!!

Mind you, it's not an EA game,
I understand. They are the publisher/distributor, not the people who wrote it.
Still, they put their tech support phone # in the manual. AFAIK, Bioware does not have a 1-800 tech support #. They have their forums here. That's it.
If you publish something, you ought to support it. There are people who might know some answers, have them write a checklist for the guys in India (or wherever) answering the phones. That's all I expect.
"Are you running any mods"?
"Are you using any DlC"?
"What's your PC config?"
and I'd be satisfied with in at least answer of
"it's something other people have reported, we're looking into it, we'll get back to you".
Not "we don't handle gameplay issues"
You can train a monkey to ask these questions, but the EA guys apparently can't.

Husband got an awesome bug. His sword and shield warrior was wearing Blood Dragon Armor when he ported. He popped up in Awakening naked, as expected. However, his base armor state was the same as if he were currently wearing the blood dragon armor. He then went on to put new armor on over the top of that, driving the stats even higher. He can't be hit by anything in Awakening.
I had this happen with a character who was using WK armor and possibly a DLC sword (not Starfang, which imported properly). Same thing--anything that could actually hit the PC consistently did zero damage--even the baddest dragon in Awakening was hitting for <20 damage worse case. I soloed that dragon with two longswords and essentially no special attacks...just hack-and-slash, get grabbed, drink a lesser potion, lather-rinse-repeat.

People's DlC armor isn't transferring, yet is somehow getting "absorbed", so to speak, into their "essence" anyway. And when they wear other armor, it's actually adding on top of this. Making them essentially undamageable.

After reading some suggestions on how to fix it, I deleted the Warden's Keep DLC. This prevented me from loading my file. So I redownloaded it.
I guess the next step would be to finish the current mission I'm on, and then return to Vigil's Keep and search my storage chest for any Warden's Keep items.
Does anyone have a list of what DLC exclusive items one gets from Warden's Keep, so that I can delete just those items and try deleting Warden's Keep again?
I swear. Dragon Age is one of my all time favorite RPGs, and one of Bioware's best in my opinion, but the 360 version has some of the most game-souring bugs I've ever encountered.
Port the game over yourselves next time, BioWare. I love your games, but outsourcing it just makes the number of bugs even more plentiful than they already are.

When you wore a modded armor and did a "force load" after disabling the mod, you also kept the stats...
Too bad when you have 20% fatigue when being naked...

This apparently extends back in to the original game, as after I saved and quit, my wife loaded her file in the original Dragon Age Origins, and the spirits that give you riddles in the Ashes of Andraste quest now have that floating eyes and teeth and visible back of head thing going on.

Oh this is ****ing ridiculous. This game is FULL of bugs. I cannot continue because there is a invisible wall stopping me from getting into lower reaches in kal'hirol.
There's a lot I'd put on the devs. but this one is not their fault. Trust me, I ran into it in the other place (Fade Crypt). It so frustrated me I called EA tech support. What a waste that was. Fortunately, the forums here helped me figure it out. That's why I love them so.
You running Advanced Tactics? If you are, you need to download a quick fix which will "vaporize" the invisible walls it puts in your way. It's the mod that's doing it.

This kept happening in Origins with the Blood Dragon armor. I had it on Alistair, and I loaded a game and he was nekkid, I thought WTF? So I had to use the console to get it back, and re-equipped him. It happened a few times to me, sadly, so I had to go back and do it again, yet everytime I put the new blood dragon armor on him, he still retained stats from the old armor. He ended up with 174% fatigue, but like 80 armor or something, and when the high dragon was grabbing him and shaking him, there were a couple of little red ones coming out. He was unkillable at that point.
I ended up equipping him with WC armor to take the edge off the massive fatigue penalties he gained.
