They have mammary glands, they're mammals. They're also bipedal, so I'd say they look close enough to being humanoid.

Doesn't it seem strange, that an alien life-form from another part of the galaxy has just enough similarities with humans in order for Shepard to stick his pickle into Tali's doughnut?

Thane and Shepard can roll there oats too....

Would have been a joke if it were made before Shepard was able to have xeno-lovin'.

Now you just look silly.

We don't know how complicated their evening was.  Might have used a mouth guard.

You guys do realize sex isn't just penis-analogs being put in vagina-analogs.

Which is why Cerberus reinforced it with Reaper bits.

You're a little off on the definition of an analogue. Just because a cheetah's tail is shaped differently from a rabbit's tail doesn't mean one of them is an analogue. They're the same body part, just constructed differently on different species.

Not getting to get into an argument because Tali fans will just get pissed because it's not like they picture it. I think Bioware should just not show her since if they do there will be a ****storm.

This...kind off. I'd like to see what Quarians look like out of general curiousity, but it can't be denied that no matter WHAT Bioware does, people are gonna be miffed that Tali doesn't look exactly like what they pictured.

Me? I'm expecting something similar to The Grays, but designed to be more...attractive, whatwith the love interest and all.

So basically an attractive looking Asgard from Stargate SG-1. That's what I'm expecting. Doubtful on hair.

This goes for every single thing in any video game..should we never reveal anything because some people aren't going to like it?

Yeah basically the Quarians are described in detail in the Ascension novel. Though actual skin color/hair and some other things were left out. Probably intentionally, because one of the main characters sees a completely naked male quarian but doesn't describe skin color or if he sees hair. Though they do have ears, the novel describes them as "The Quarian equivilant of an ear."

They can't have hair, if they did it would be disgusting and greesy. They are bald.

I would assume those suits, by virtue of being both the future and something they apparently live in, have fairly effective internal cleaning systems. But yeah hair inside a helmet is just a liability.

I don't see why they'd have greasy hair. Each major ship in the Migrant Fleet has a lower deck in which there are sterile showers and restrooms. Also explained in the book. Oh and a fun fact, brought up by the 12 year old human girl in the story, when quarians don't have direct access to s sterile bathroom, their suits are capable of storing "waste". That was a question on my mind, so I laughed when that was answered in the book XD.

Also, I'd like to point out the many tubes (not just one or two) that are connected to the back of their helmets. Obviously a few are for air, so why can't one be something of a hair cleaning tube? Sending a shampoo-like substance to the individual's hair.

Lol! Now they're everywhere. Shepard can even wake up in one after being drunk off his/her ass XD. Waking up to the nice sound of a Turian takin a ****** right next to him/her.

Tali always said that resources were always spread thin on the Flotilla. Clean hair seems like an unnesecary luxury. I imagine that they are bald for this reason.

Besides, they might not have had hair in the first place.

Well, I think it fairly common knowledge that pretty much all mammals have basically the same parts.  So it should be assumed that being quarians are mammals (at least that's what's going around), then they have the parts to do the deed.  What those parts look like is pretty much irrelevant.

There is truth in what you say. But, I guess there isn't a wrong answer, so to speak. Anyways, if anyone's interested, I'm writing a fan-fiction with the main character being a Quarian. Most the facts about Quarians that I put in it are from the book. Some I might make up along the way, since little is known about them. Though it is a fan-fiction, so what the hell? lol

Interesting factoid, all mammals have hair at some point in their lives. Whether that has any relevance in the Mass Effect universe is debatable, though. Maybe asari babies are fuzzy?

Quarians are aliens. Biology that applies to creatures on Earth may not necesarrily apply to aliens.

Asari aren't mammals. They're not from Earth, remember?

They sure do have nice mammary glands, though. Wooohoo!
