Someone in ME2 mentioned that Quarians have thick skin. So, expect some texture.

Might have been Mordin.

Quarians are aliens. Biology that applies to creatures on Earth may not necesarrily apply to aliens.

Not when it comes to hair. Only Humans have hair as far as we know of and Liaras eyebrows <_<

It's never mentioned whether they have hair

I'm sure Bioware knows full well that all of this discussion can be spared with one quick picture posted on the site. I think they enjoy laughing at us. Bioware has over 9000 Renegade points from this alone.

It looks like Liara draws her eyebrows on, though.

Liara wants to look more human is more disturbing then those Hanar porn games....

She's the asari equivalent of that woman who has had plastic surgery to look like a cat.

Yet less disturbing then the fact that actual real life humans shave their eyebrows and then draw them back on. And yes, one girl in my lab did do this which is how I know. No it was not a product of an unfortunate explosion.

Interesting factoid, all mammals have hair at some point in their lives. Whether that has any relevance in the Mass Effect universe is debatable, though. Maybe asari babies are fuzzy?

Asari aren't mammals. They're not from Earth, remember?

They sure do have nice mammary glands, though. Wooohoo!

Boob-shaped lumps are not Mammary Glands.

Besides, they might not have had hair in the first place.

If they're (space analogues of) mammals, which iirc they are, they presumably have hair. Even if they shave it for hygenic reasons, they still have it.

Boob shaped lumps only present on females in a work of fiction made by humans are clearly intended to be mammary glands.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Quarians have lamprey mouths, and Asari tenticles are made of keratin (same thing as hair, finger nails, and rhino horns), and their pubic tenticles are a tribute to henti tenticle pron.

Hardly. Mammary glands have a particular function. Boob-shaped lumps are far more likely.

The thing that gets me wondering is that they have red blood, so I they have the same blood as humans.

All that means is that their blood is iron based. Their genetic structure is based on dextro-amino acids, so it's actually completely different from human blood chemically.

They way I picture them is Very Human like face yes, though based off what grunt briefly states about quarians and flat out simple observation their bodyies are VERY turian, skin obviously tougher than humans.
Essentially what you could conceptually get when you cross a human with a turian. Not saying you get a quarian 9 months after a human and a turian do the deed...or maybe you d--  No NO....Implications *Inhales Deeply* Unsettling.  Image IPB

Aww, my favorite picture on the net :)

Anyways, the quarians have to be kinda humanoids. At least you can exchange body liquids with one without serious complications.

I'm still at awe at the fact how many xenophiles are on the forums :)

Grunt mentioned that Quarians were 'not so soft' (as compared to humans and asari). Maybe they have some sort of exoskeleton.

Possibly referring to their Suits. /shrug, I didn't talk to Grunt much, was mainly Mordin and Legion.

I figure the Quarians *had* to have something about them that made them tough, otherwise Grunt would have mentioned something about their immune systems making them weak.

They could have both.  Bones *and* some sort of plating.  Like Krogan.  Except hotter and with DEM HIPS.

Based on the whole spend 300 years in suits/ships thing I'd say that their skin is probably very lacking in pigment. A very pale white wouldn't surprise me. And the quote from Grunt is "Quarians... not so much" but he then goes on to say you have to work the blade on Turians. From this I'd assume either that he is including the suit or that they're somewhere slightly tougher than humans but not as tough as a Turian.

Maybe they have stronger bones.
