I didn't notice anything special other then the dialogue, but I am beyond tired, so if anyone else noticed anything different, I'd love to know.

Um... try using it?

Use it like you would any other usable item... like a poultice or whatever.

It basically triggers dialogue with Anders.  That's its use.

According to the Wiki, if you use Ser Pounce-a-lot it will revive dead party members.

What do you do with Ser Pounce-a-lot? You worship him and pray that he graces you with his formidable powers, like reviving 3 dead companions in one second.

In fact, when you use Ser Pounce-a-lot in battle, the user raises his/her arms in the air in prayer.

Even as Anders keels over dead.

I imagine Ser Pounce-a-lot sitting on his chest and meowing piteously when this happens, just wondering why his pet mage is the only one he can't revive.

Very useful indeed, I didn't use it in my 1st play through but did in my 2nd and the cat was very handy in a couple of the nasty battles.
