I heard that Awakening was supposed to be available for download to the PS3 here in the US.

When is that going to happen? I load up Dragon Age, and check the PS3 store, but I don't see any option to purchase it so I can play it right away.

How will we register the PSN downloaded version on this site? Will it come with a code or something?

I'm guessing it is downloaded in a similar way to the other expansions. Going to take a hell of a time to download though I guess. Grrrr, would give anything to have had it on disk.

Also how big is this download going to be exactly? Must be a healthy few GB I would think...

the dlc version of PS3 is 1,5gb

Any idea when the PSN will be updated? Also my fiance is saying on the PC it seems to be available here in Europe already, is that the case for everyone?

It would be great if a Bioware employee could come here and tell us about the situation. When DAO: Awakening is able for download from PSN, what time? is it even today?

Been to playstations official website, nothing on awakening what so ever. Getting worried!!!

I wouldn't get worried yet, RTO was available I would say after 12pm GMT+1 timezone, and that was earlier than I expected. So I wouldn't start panicking for another oh.... 4 hours.

I hate time thx for telling though, will sit idle for a couple of hours then. But you gotta have to admit that Europe almost got no info, I had to go to EA´s website to get the release date. Bioware: you make kickass games but your info to Europe sucks, be better thank you

I agree, I hate hanging around, and I had to live through the constant waiting for RTO for PS3, sucked. The only thing that worries me is that for the pre-ordering of the PC version it says that they will not be sending an access code until tomorrow, so does that mean we will be left waiting until tomorrow too? I seriously hope not.

what´s with the access code? isn´t it just to pay and download like the other DLC´s?

That's what I thought but he was saying he could have bought and downloaded the came now and it said he would be sent access codes for it tomorrow.



And this is from the EA store, I checked it myself and sure enough, its no longer saying pre-order. It says proceed to download (in dutch tho lol)

But that might only be to PC, since PSN is handling the PS3 download I guess it´s just pay and download, if you think of the other DLC´s, the codes for those are redeem codes to get free stuff. You cannot download Awakening for PS3 from EA store
