Why are people so quick to discount the possibility of them fixing this? I really don't think they want the Ultimate Edition to suffer from these bugs, so they probably are working on fixing them. It's too bad that EA has them on such a tight leash that they can't even tell us that they are working on it.

Just because they may fix something for the Ultimate Edition doesn't mean they'll release a patch for it. I think the problem last time was the amount of space MS allows them for updates - it wasn't enough. So unless they release a patch just for this, they may not be able to.
And with them focussing so much on DA2, I don't see them trying a lot of alternatives . . .especially if there IS a fix for the UE - just another reason for someone to buy the UE.

can i redownload warden's keep after i've gained those items or will it bug them again? i'm asking because my fiancée is playing origins with her mage atm and i don't want to disappoint her ^^

As far as I know it will probably bug them again. If what you are saying is true and you are playing a human. So yes it will bug the items.

I'd say the main reason people don't expect this bug fixed is because it took so long for them to get the fixes we have now, add to that the fact that the dlc is done for this game and most people would agree that all efforts are going towards DA2.
As was stated before this can't be fixed by a regular patch because of size restrictions, so releasing a free dlc with the fixes, (which would be great) would cost them money and make them none, and given their track record so far with fixes it's hard to see that happening. I doubt that the ultimate edition will have any new fixes, just all the dlc bundled with it, there would definitely be some backlash if they made new fixes and only included them in the ultimate edition game and didn't release them to the rest of us. I mean how many people are going to buy this game a second time?

I wish they would fix it, it makes no sense to penalize people because they supported the company by purchasing the DLC.

I still wish it was fixed...
This and the starfang appearance on my legendary sword of awesomesauce make me quite sad.
There are still a ton of flagging issues that need ro be fixed, maybe they could throw in these fixes in if they ever fix the game fully.
If only Microsoft was not so greedy, to force a company to pay for any patches for their games is silly.
