The annoyance with Oghren's affection can be solved somewhat by importing spare booze from Origins
Certain Grandmaster Weapon runes, such as Silverite and Cold Iron, change to armor runes once they become the Masterpiece and Paragon level. I'm not sure whay, but they are programmed that way.
I was particularly miffed by the bizarre codex/gameplay/plot inconsistencies of whether or not Vigil's Keep fell and characters survived, provided I chose to defend Adranandine City. The abrupt shift to epilogue text and a single repeat of the Mother's death before the credits has me thinking there might be more to the ending I am missing...

I bought Awakening today. Started playing with my origins character. Now Anders joins me and looks very much like a mage... but he has only rogue skills (almost all archer stuff) and his spec is ranger. But his level up screen shows him as mage, with spirit healer spec. Also, his attributes are good for an archer rogue, but useless for a mage. So... what's this?

it seems, that some bugs do not appear in every save. Like the Mine-bug with the missing belongings (when I played as rogue, I had to kill a experimental subject with my stuff, but now I played as warrior and did not get my stuff back - the other chars did. BUT, instead, all the stuff that was in my Inventory before the cut scene remained there), and the impossibility to have a character undertake the joining (in my case Velenna - it says "speak to the Seneshall", but all he has to say is the Blabla about the Darkspawn Horde. After the Seneshalls death, the Quest is still active, and there are TWO Captain Garevel's in the Hall, but I can talk only with one. Weird thing is, that when I played as rogue, I got Sigrun as last Companion and she was able to "valmorpharise" into a warden).
Anyway, I don't really know if this is a bug (maybe someone should try it): when fighting the Queen of the marshes, I gave the lyrium ring to Justice. The Dragon roared, and then DIED, but I was damn sure that it had at least 500HP left. I still got the EP, so its not so bad^^.
As for other reported Bugs, after the attack on Vigils Keep, there is a marker over the Bombmaker, but I can't talk to him, but I got 3 Bombs when I gave him 3 lyrium sands.
[EDIT] Narf, it's worse: I can't talk to ANYONE in the Keep's Yard. And In the main Hall, all the people who came there before the attack are still there, doing nothing. God help me.
When you work for the smugglers, there is a glitch. I don't know if this is able after each assignment or only after one specific, but when you talk to them to claim you reward, you get paid well, then refuse to do the next mission. Talk to the leader again, you get paid again. And again. And again...

You can buy a tome from Herren that will reset the char's attribute, skills and abilitys it is used on. Its 6 gold and there are always 99 of it.

I went back to the wending woods to see if I didn't pick it up, but I had, and it wasn't there or even in my inventory anymore. Now I can't even give the heartwood to Wade because it is just gone. I have finished awakening before, managing to work around the bug where you are defending Vigil's Keep, and I have never had that with the heartwood dissapearing before happen.
Anyone know what is going on? I really like the heartwood bow, or shield.

So now after all the hard work I put in, I have to start a new damned game, and who knows what other glitches will appear. They seem to change every new game of awakening, and it is really getting on my nerves.

Speaking of bugs..I finally encountered that Silverite mines bug. Clued in that it was the Harvest ring from the Shale expac, plus the Key to the City..combo. Experimented with it...(saw my character in the prison ...etc with all potions still showing in the hotbar) ...reloaded. Changed rings with Ohgren...saved. Went back in, and everything worked properly. I think this is the first time I have seen the screen go black when the Architect talks to you..which is what clued me in that the silverite mines bug was going to happen.<br />

But workaround is...reload change jewellry out with another companion (don't leave in inventory just in case) save and continue on ..you shouldn't lose anything from there on.
Thanks, Feraele! My mage had the Magister's Shield amulet on from Warden's Keep when I lost my equipment. I went back to a previous save and replaced the amulet with another from Awakenings. When the mage was captured, he had on clothing like the rest of the companions and received everything in the inventory near the end of the mines quest. I was going crazy trying to figure out what went wrong. I appreciate the advice!
