I've looked into the two bugs that people have mensioned here and happened to me also.
"Heart of the forest" quest bug
"What is build endures" quest bug
"Heart of the forest"
If you you defeat "The Old" tree and get the the special material Heartwood, before you finish the quest "Elemental requirements" you will trigger the quest "Heart of the forest" but you cant turn in the heartwood to Wade.
Solution: Finishing "Elemental requirements" quest first, will trigger another quest "A masters work", and that quest will lead to you getting "heart of forest" quest. Everything should work now and you can go kill "the Old" tree.
Another possiblity is that everything will work even if you trigger "Heart of the forest" too early and the only bug is the marker over Wade's head. Finishing "Elemental requirements" might put everything to order, havnt tested this myself since I went back to an eralier save.
"What is build endures"
A bug that is triggered if you click on the granite quary before you get the quest "What is built endures" from Voldrik. The quest quest cant be finished even though Valdrik have a quest marker over his head.
Solution: Finish Wending Wood main quest first and then you will get the quest "What is built endures" from Voldrik. Now clicking on the granite from the quary should finish the quest.
Another possible solution is that everything works even if you clicked on the granite quary too early, but that the quest wont kickstart until you finish the Wending Wood main quest and you get the request from Valdrik. This is untested since I went back to an earlier save.

I have a save I made before entering the mine and getting knocked out,l so I'll just unequip all my stuff and re-do the dungeon. I lose an hour of work, but oh well. Looks like I have to do the job that Bioware Q&A didn't do.

You know what, I just realized I have this problem too. I have a female city elf rogue with 46 cunning and 4 in trap skill and I've been running throguh traps like crazy. The tile traps in the chasm and the traps in the woods too. I never detect them even when standing in front of them.

- Patch 1.03 PC: Dog sometimes fetching, but not giving you items: Possibly related to stealing bug. Widely Confirmed
- Patch 1.03 PC: Not being able to tranform out to mouse form while in fade, as of patch 1.03. Haven't confirmed, just noticed some people posting this.

Hadn't been able to play between the release of 1.03 and Awakenings, so I don't know which caused what problems.
1) ALL my saved characters from DA:O were gone. Could not import them to Awakenings, nor play them in Origins. Checked my Documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\characters, and it was empty.
2) ALL my 3rd-party mods were gone, both DaZip and Override versions.
3) I acquired Blood Dragon Armor (I thought that you had to pre-order Mass Effect to for this?)
4) Numerous graphical glitches in the inventory/levelup/skill/tactics screens. Missing numbers, numbers replaced by odd characters, "Next","Previous","Save Profile", etc buttons obviously using the wrong graphics which have been stretched out of scale to fit the boxes.
Running the Steam Version. Debating uninstalling/reinistalling, But that will take all night. (the bad thing about steam, I guess).

Oghren starts out at 0 approval, but all gifts to him start out at 6/1 rather than 10/5. Makes getting his approval up (already hard, as far as I can tell) even harder.
If you follow the Suspicious Character (the one in Law and Order that leads you to several ambushes) while leaving the ambushes to the rest of your group, the quest breaks.
When I finished the game (after the epilogue slides) I got the kill of the Mother cut-scene on repeat. Not sure if that was a bug or on purpose.

O_O the ****tacko? Why? I mean why should we bother to create addins, if we cant use them?
