...i dont know if i am the only one who experienced this.. may be a bug or not .. not sure.. coz i restarted my origins game with awakening installed.... all is well until my ruined temple"urn of andraste's "quest.... I have finished the quest and talked to Bro Genetivi about it.. but i cant do a transition to the world map to return to Redcliff castle...tried unchecking my official DLC/ unofficial mods..it doesn't help....need help ....

Sooooooo, how many people with the Mines gear bug have the Andraste's Grace add-on (mage gear)? 'Cause taking that off my mage seems to have made all the problems go away.





Now I feel kind of stupid (and I only figured it out because the Experimental Subject is unkillable in the set - it must have infinite mana or something.)

Not sure if its been mentiioned as I don't feel like reading through. Several of the mages spells descriptions are no longer there in the talent screen. Such as Virulent walking bomb. I have no idea if the spell actually works or not as I don't have it on my mage.

Half of the time Velanna's Cinematics get cutout of play when she is interrupting dialog with something, or someone, else.  It only is hers and it is annoying as hell.  I would like to know what she is saying but instead I see broken landscape.

My toons blood abilities from Warden's Keep are broken...

And the Animate Dead spell continues to not work at all.

I'm getting numerous crashes after installing awakening (between 5-15 minutes of play and I will crash). I had one or two on Origins but they were very far apart and nothing to worry about.

Well I finished the game and I've got a few bugs to go with that accomplishment.

-During my conversation cutscene with The Architect, the one right before going to fight The Mother, the screen went black about halfway through. The dialog options and sound still worked, but the video didn't come back on until he left.
-Randomly the second half of the game my cursor would disappear during battles making it impossible to select the hud options.
-Crashes galore during the darkspawn invasion of Amaranthine. I could barely make it 10 minutes before the game would lock up on a loading screen.
-Companions kept talking over each other during battles. By this I mean they would say their just-walking-around dialog during a fight and two dialogs would be going on at the same time.

I had an issue where I killed the Mother and the video of me killing her replayed over and over again and the only way to get past it was to spam the escape key causing me to skip the credits and the ending.

A bug that doesn't really break game, but it makes gifts and things like tha worthless: I've had two characters hit 100 approval the second they agree to join me. I mean I know my character is ruggedly hansome and all, but damn:)

Well i crashed now in a battle with the first in the fade of blackmarsh. Patch 1.03 must have problems with combat.

just following up on my previous post ... still no luck with the urn of andraste's quest.. still cant activate the toggle for world map... after quest end with genetivi. so i have decided to uninstall the game and go back to version 1.02 restart everything ...will install 1.03 and awakening if... that is if i dont get the same problem again ....crossing my fingers... :(

Previously reported issues that I also experienced (quoting and updating where mine is a little different):

- Killed Liza Packton at Stark's farm. Imagine my surprise when she shows up at court in a land dispute.
- all hostile mobs just stand there and I can't initiate combat with them no matter what I do  (I have random NPCs hostile and we can sit there and kill them for weeks, HP bar doesn't move)
- Yesterday, Velanna joined my party and she instantly get +100 of approval (same for me.  Justice also went to 100/Love from giving him a gift).
-Lilith (the merchant) keeps reappearing in vigil's keep (exterior) every time i enter the area. She keeps saying that she's providing new stock for the merchants, but i havn't seen anything new.

Other ones I didn't see:

- turned in the iron, silverite, golem piece, and heartwood.  Still have a quest to turn in something to Wade, haven't found anything else.
- turned in 2 lyrium sands to the explosives maker, still have a third in my bag, he has a quest indicator, but can't get any dialogue to start
- my game crashes every 30 - 45 minutes of play now
- not sure if this is a bug or what, but I couldn't find a use for the Fresh Dragon Egg, drake scales and the Avvaar statue.  Used the golem control rod once, then it just sits in my bag?
- 3 sylvans did not spawn until I left the area and came back (for the 5 pieces of sylvan wood quest)
- there's no romance in the game, but Anders and Justice are both 100/Love while Nathaniel/Vellana/Sigrun are all 100/Friendly
- can you raise Ohgren's rep?  Give him every bottle I could find, tested pretty much every other gift I had, and nothing seems to raise approval high enough to continue on with his personal quest.  Even the bottles gave a max of 6 approval when they used to start higher.
-each rune takes up an inventory slot.  I bought 30 of the same rune.  They stacked to 30 in one slot, but counted as 30 slots in my inventory.
- end game shows the Vigil as destroyed, but epilogue says everyone lived.
- kept all my gear in the fade, that didn't happen in Origins, also makes all the 'fade-only' pot drops a little useless

Nothing much to add that hasn't been said already. Most annoying are the crashes, crashes and more crashes.

my rig:

Intel quad 9550 ~ 3,5 GHz
4 Gig DDR3 Ram 1600 MHz
Nvidia GTX 280
Vista 64
All latest patches.

No crashes before i installed 1.03

I have just received the expansion.

I have not installed it yet coz I haven't finished the main game.

I thought tho that I would book my place in the queue for when I do attempt to install it and everything goes pear-shaped...

Vigilance model isn't right if you have Warden's Keep DLC installed.

Completed DA:O-A. Couple of issues that I noted.



- Codex reports that everyone died at Vigils Keep, and the World Map shows it as a skull/crossbones icon with legend "Destroyed by darkspawn". After killing Mother however, the epilogue reports that everyone lived.



- Had a random encounter of a Burning Forest going from Farm to Vigils Keep. No-one there, just an empty zone. Bug?



- As I entered Drakes Fall towers section, the game got more jerky as I activated more towers. Saving/Loading took longer and casting/moving lag became more noticeable. Issues resolved by moving to next zone.



- When casting AoE effects (Tempest, Blizzard, Inferno, Mass Paralyze) I occasionally get a cast bar appearing, but sometimes do not. Seems to be any AoE after the initial spell cast.



- After Silverite Mine in Wending Wood, I realized I hadn't completed a quest there, but was unable to return to the inner mine. Bug or By Design?



- During the Siege of Amaranthine, after exiting the Chapel, I killed all Childers and Darkspawn but was stuck in combat. Reloaded and issue did not occur again.



Using DA:O 1.03, no Addons.



Otherwise, and to counterbalance the impending negativity of this thread: Great expansion Bioware. Coupla issues, but well worth the price.

I got a problem. Its DA expansion



In the city (ammaranthine) i accepted the quest from the constable Aiden to investigate the smugglers. So i went to the shady guy, accepted his quest to make the inn owner to open the passage.

Now all the guards calling me bad things and the constable wont accept me to deliver a quest about killing bandits.



Is there anyway to get them on my side again? without cheating ofc.

The AI is dead and noone can attack, this happened in the main campaign after installing Awakening... Kiind of sucks...

Warden's Keep and RTO do not work ingame after installing, shale does. Dragon armor is removed.

The loading times bug seems to be back for me (Steam version). The patch fixed the issue in DA:O before the release of the expansion, but it's very much there in Awakenings. Haven't played Origins since, so can't say if it's back there as well.



In other news, some of the weapon runes appear to be borked. Specifically, silverite and cold iron better than grandmaster (masterpiece and paragon) don't show up in the menu when enchanting weapons.

after clearing the entire mine area. I was able to get all my companions
missing armor, but mine was nowhere to be found. I ran through it 4
times with tab, searching everywhere. The "experiment" with my
armor/weapons never showed.


Alright guys, keep adding, so
that Bioware will release a speedy and comprehensive patch.


Yea I DEFINITELY got number 4 on this run through the mines.  Pissed me off totally as I can't finish the game in crappy gear.

When I start the game it crashes after few minutes. Any advise doesn't appear, just only return on desktop. It doesn't happen with DA:O, but only after the installation of the patch 1.03 and DA:OA.

There are any news about this damned patch?
