Its one of the first quests you get as a Grey Warden hen you go into the Kocari Wilds, you find the last will and testament on the dead body and there iss a key and it tells you to go find the chest/cache, i added it to my active quests but there is no arrow and all the chests ive found so far i cant unlock with the key...anyone have any idea at all on the map the stupid thing is?

its not a chest...if you read the quest it becomes quite clear where it is.

I did, then i ask, is it in the Kocari wilds or in Redcliffe because it doesnt actually mentin AT ALL where it is or may be.

The stash is in Kocari wilds in a campsite, after that..what you find is then taken to Redcliff if you so choose.

The cache is in the wilds. It's at one of the Darkspawn camps. It loks like a pile of rocks and it should be marked on your map.

Im having trouble with this one too... I've managed to clear the area and been to the camps of the darkspawns (3 i think) but for the life of me I dont know if I've found the cache? I dont recall a pile of rocks except the one with the ghost where you sprinkle the ashes....there are a lot of locked chests around but couldnt open them, playing warrior btw and the rogue in my group cant handle a lock if his life depended on it would appreciate any help, coz it Im just about ready to click on morrigan to get the documents from dear ol mum

It's in a dark spawn camp. The one with a fireplace and near ruins. Hit tab and look for a pile of rocks. To see if you have already picked up, go into your inventory and click on the quest items tab.

There are three stashes in the area, though you need a quest for all of them I believe (or at least two of them). One is the campfire in the westernmost darkspawn camp. One is south across a narrow little bit of land and is a chest between two statues, and one is in a log in the southeastern most darkspawn camp.

Yikes! so that's where it was! thanx for the help, thought my eyes needed to be checked coz i couldnt see the signs near that fallen tree...honestly without pressing tab i wouldnt have found that clue which i believe opens up the pile of rocks campfire thing... thanx for the help!
