With how much the butt heads you'd expect to hear a lot more random banter between them through out every mission. I mostly roll with them in my squad and i look at everything that they have to comment on but there isn't that much.
Anyone else think there should be more tension between Miranda and Jack?
Miranda and Jack should have more random dialog

There should have been more communication between every squad member. I thought it would be like Dragon Age, where squadmates would start banter in certain areas of a map. But that clearly isn't the case, as it seems as though the only person most of the squadmates really know is Shepard.

It's odd they would have inter-party conversations in DA:O but they just forgot about that in ME2, especially when that was one of the best parts about the first ME.

Aye, I have to agree, party banter is too limited in ME2. Its more squaddie/shepard relationships exclusively.
I missed falling off my chair when Wrex asked Kaidan in ME1, "who would win in a fight"
Kaidan: "What?! Shepard is my superior officer, I can't imagine us even getting into a fight"
Wrex: "Really? Well that is why Shepard is your superior officer, and that's why Shepard would win"
Heh, hell I miss that badass.

Tali and Legion banter would have been interesting too, was hoping to hear from those two since there's quite a bit of history between their two races.

there should be random banter between every party member. After DA:O and elevators in ME, it's sad that there's only 1 random banter moment that I'm at least aware of.

As far as I knew the design teams were different for ME2 and DA:O, though it is wierd that they wouldn't have at least taken a page from them and had our party talk to each other. They're is a few, like Tali and Garrus on the stairs in the citidel, Miranda and Jacob on Omega, or Thane and Garrus when your entering C-Sec, though that's about it.
I really would like to see them talking on the Normandy, though I think that would require them to leave thier spaces and move about. Perhaps EDI could just be like "Garrus is in engineering Shepard" or something, and you could walk in an he and Tali could be talking. It's a little thing, but would be really cool.

There really should have been much more dialogue, not just between squad members, but in commenting on events in the game.
e.g. Your love interest making no comment when Shiala hits on you and Gianna kisses you - this really should have provoked some reaction, if not at the time, then later in the next shipboard conversation.

I was surprised they never tried to pay off on Jacob's distrust of Thane or the numerous problems Samara would have with Grunt and Zaeed.

More catfighting (and banter in general) would be much appreciated.
