I'm having the same problem. My Dragon Age: Origins came from Impulse and my Awakenings came from EA Store. I just re-installed Dragon Age, and still no dice. Dragon Age runs just fine, but Other Campaigns is greyed out and starting a New Game just goes straight to a quote and then a character creator, with no option to select Awakenings. Awakenings doesn't show up in the Downloadable Content area, either (not sure if it's supposed to or not though). It's as if the game doesn't know it exists. I don't have any other user accounts on this system either, so I don't see how there could be another user profile with a different AddIns.xml out there (a Windows search turns up no other files, at least).
Haven't tried the UAC fix yet, but the XML fix doesn't work for me; when I go to paste the Awakenings XML, it turns out the code is already in the AddIns.xml file.
"Other Campaigns" option is greyed out

Did anyone find another resolution for this? I am having the same issue, downloaded from the EA store.
EA online chat was unable to assist me, not that I am surprised after they asked me: "May I know from where have you purchased the game?"

This worked for me. Right click on DA Awakenings in your steam library and select "create desktop shortcut". Launch game from that.

actually for steam user who have the same problem, previous post stated that if you validate the files for awakening and run it work for me, thus its far more easier method than the cut and paste code method, only if you bought Da.o awakening through steam and had this problem... so if you bought from different store, you might as well use that link previously...

I bought the ultimate edition and for me the "other campaigns" is not greyed out. The "Witch Hunt" campaign and "Darkspawn Chronicles" campaign are available, in the same place where the "Awakening" campaign should be. The Ultimate Edition is one game, one install for all DLC content and Awakening Expansion, so I'm sure there's nothing I have to reinstall. Anyone having THIS problem?

Sounds like you have a game problem and not a tech issue. Have you tried reading the codex?

My Witch Hunt DLC is not showing up in the ''other campaigns'' menu, although awakening is. I installed from the website because my in game couldn't connect to server. It even shows up under installed content menu. Anyway to fix?

AFAIK, Bioware didn't choose to have the game shackled to that loser of a connection, so you'd have to convince MS to adopt this game in spite of it not coming with any GfW hooks embedded in it.
