You get it whether you are his mistress or wife.

Almost better to import mistress. At least he says "love."
Not enough dialogue with him, but take what I can get.

Alistair: I hate having to ask you to do this, love. It'd be so much more interesting to keep you at court...

I've heard that the mistress interaction is very similar to the wife interaction, though. I thought I was importing a mistress save on my HN, but it was an emergency back-up queen ending.

I'm not an Alistair Fan Girl, but I was jumping in my seat to see him and interact with him. Even if it was just for a few minutes. I got all my pictures taken. He seems genuinely sad to leave you and I honestly believed he'd come back for me. Maybe that's just wishful thinking but I'll deal. XD

PC: Planning on joining me, dear husband?
Alistair: Oh, I wish. Don't even tempt me like that, you minx. Eamon will have a heart attack.
I was going oh please please let me tempt you, get rid of Eamon n have some fun at the same time

At some point my Seneschal said the date during an execution, but it didn't really make sense to me. Some people are speculating this is 7 months later, but I really have no idea. Thoughts?

On another note: Anyone else feel a little weird that no one seems to know or care that you're the queen of Ferelden? I don't expect any bowing or scraping, but could I get a Your Majesty every once in a while? The up side is that since no one does know or care, my rogue princess-consort feels free to pursue her life of petty crime. All your locked chests are belong to me, citizens of Amaranthine.

Even I keep forgetting that I'm the queen, which would serioulsy dampen the thrill of looting and being relentlessly sarcastic to everyone. My PC is a shameless flirt and hit on some random barmaid and about five minutes later I thought "Hmm, maybe I shouldn't make eyes at everything that moves, lest it get back to my freaking husband."
Anders is still fair game.

Orlesian kiss *giggles*

I even found it odd that my character bowed to Alistair. I could see that before they're married, but I'm the queen, dammit! Let everyone else get down on one knee... while they're bowing with heads lowered is the perfect opportunity for an Orlesian kiss with the lord husband!
That, too! I guess they didn't want to work through all the possible combinations (I imagine that Anora would expect even her husband to bow to her) and just made it the same for everyone. I did wish I could reach over and punch Oghren in the knee and make him bow, too.
I don't know if I could get that romantic with Rylock and her crazy eyes nearby, though.

Oh, that's true. But since I'm also chancellor, I really don't think it's too much to ask to pull the king aside for a, um, council meeting.SurelyForth wrote...

I think the clanking would give you away.

I'm his chancellor! I have to make sure that his armor isn't... you, know, chafing or anything.

lol got to love the Alistair fans i admit he was cool from a guys point of view
Which guy's point of view? I found Alister cowardly and shunning responsibilities in DAO. Not much of a hero in him, but I guess some girls do like guys like him.

I actually want to smack some tough guy into him but what can you do? ~Shrug~
