i said likewise, and now there are no dialog options with her other than "we should end this" "your the best thing to ever happen to me" and her bard tales. after listening to all the bard tales and picking your the best thing to ever happen to me she still has no dialog options. shes at 100 so what gives? is there something specific i have to do to open up more conversation options now or does more time need to pass in game or what?

Pass time..do her quest that you will get when you are attacked in a random encounter. and after that..thats when I was able to actually romance her.

I believe you need to complete her personal quest first. Also, depending on your sex, you need to reply to a certain conversation with specific answers.

ok thanks.up until now all dialog for everyone seemed to be strictly based on standing with them and i would just give a gift and boom more dialog options unlock. so having her at 100 and nothing left to say was rather discouraging. especially since allister is only at like 70 and is already wanting to kiss me or bed me lol and the elf guy is like at 50 and already wants to bed me lol. been avoiding both their advances trying to romance leliana and shes at 100 and just wont go beyond saying she wants to be more than freinds, was like ><

Minor spoilers, obviously...

You'll need to have a conversation with her where she compliments your hair "I...have I ever told you I really like the way you wear your hair?"
Your replies should be (to start the romance):
My hair? Thank you.
Dear Maker!
Well we are friends, aren't we?
And do you enjoy the company of other women?
I think I might giggle and look coy?

-Note, these are the choices I made. Its possible you could make other choices and get the same effect though.
If she already complimented your hair and you didn't reply correctly, then its game over, man! Game over! We're all gonna die!

hmmm. i honestly dont remember if i replied with those exact options each time. would like to think that if i got this far that she said she cares deeply for me and wants to be more than freinds that it wouldnt be end of the road though... is stupid if its really that finicky.

i went through all that conversation [followed a guide]& even got a smooch out of it a bit later in the game but now i'm getting the same conversation options as the op.
i too, am at 100% with her [& playing a female char].

Don't put much stock in the "you need these exact comments" stuff.



If you got her cute scene where she admits you could be more than friends, and you were able to kiss her, then you're golden. Just do her personal quest if you haven't and it should all fall into place.

I'm in the same boat. I can't do her quest because the options do not come up. As a test, I broke up with her and dropped -26 point, but got the options to talk to her about being a bard/spy etc again. I don't want to break up with her so I reloaded, but now I need to find some way to drop her approval below 100 and see if that once again triggers her speaking options.

think we may be a bit screwed doing quest & romance. i did what you did to see what else happened. you unlock the bard talen, then i followed this To embark on Leliana’s main personal quest, you must do the
following, in order:
Talk to her in camp and eventually ask her, “What would someone
like you be doing in Lothering’s Chantry?” She will bring up being a minstrel.
Get Leliana’s approval rating to warm (approval 25+).
Talk to Leliana in camp about how minstrels are sometimes spies.
Leave the camp and come back to the camp. Talk to Leliana again
(must still be warm approval). She’ll talk about how she lied about Orlais.
The next random encounter should be Leliana’s assassin’s encounter.
The last human male surrenders when you beat him, and he’ll talk about who sent
him. You can decide to kill him or not, then leave the encounter and Leliana
will talk. She will tell you all about a former love interest, Marjolaine.
i got up to the assasin part. didn't really bother with the combat as it was an old save. i was just checking.

i think i'll leave it right up until near the end of the game to try to get the romance, otherwise i'll end the romance & do the quest.
i don't know if you could do the above, get Leliana back to 100% then romance again. if any1 knows, i'd be interested on knowing if it's possible.

Question: Marjolaine was a former love interest?
What if my PC never discovered that? All Leliana indicated was that Marjolaine was her master...
But I did her quest and Majorlaine left and the quest was indicated as done.
Went back to camp and spoken something about seduction and cued her with the reply
"You could try to charm me sincerely"
Her reply was something like "Ok, I'll charm you when there is a need & with an honest heart"
But her approval rating stays the same at 91& "Friendly"...
I think I may have screwed up the romance option...

Your list is perfect as far as the order to do things to not screw it up, I think.

Strange enough, I had a conversation with Wynne and she said I should break things off with Leliana because my duty as a Warden would end up hurting her. Guess I'll play off that.

i've pretty much given her all the gifts that she likes. looks like i'll have to give her some of wardogs bones.
