First Garrus in ME2 and Mhairi in Awakenings......hmmm now I'll be suspicious of any trailer that comes out of their marketing dept, thinking in the back of my mind it might lead to some plot twist

No he doesn't. You get a Critical Mission Failed screen if he dies. You can only kill him off in the suicide missionvirumor wrote...

And you know, maybe I was strenuously avoiding spoilers about the game, so I hung out in DAO-ville until I could play ME2. Have a care for others, people - if this were Neverwinter Nights I wouldn't be hung up about it, but the game's been out for a solid month and a half.

you know garus gets shot if you have him leading the second group in collector base forget frist or second part but he just shrugs it off like some bee stung him were every 1 else dies lol
