Plot spoilers ahead.
I played through the mage quest first, then went on and did all the others. I've finally recruited the dwarves and elves, but now realized that that "Broken Circle" quest is still listed as active, specifically the section with using the litany to defeat Uldred. I have done this already, Uldred is dead. I was teleported out, but the quest is not marked as finished. I would not mind having no assistance from the mages if it weren't for the problem that the main quest won't continue otherwise.
I tried re-entering the tower, but the door leading inside from the area with the templars is locked. So now I am completely stuck in the game. Any solutions? I am playing on the PC.
Broken Circle quest can't be completed

Well lucky me i did not find a fix for this problem but low and behold i found a work around for it.
Step 1 enable the cheats for the game
Step 2 use this cheat "runscript zz_jump_around" it will randomly teleport you around the level of the tower that you are currently on use it enough times and you will get past the locked door.
Step 3 when you get to where u need to get to the harrowing chamber your path is blocked so again use cheat "runscript zz_jump_around" till you can get to the chamber door.
Step 4 after entering the harrowing chamber ( I HIGHLY recommend saving the game at this point) you will see irving and he will have a quest for you. its the same 1 you did as before and can do it again.
This fixed my problem on my 1st try but im guessing some of you might have to try taking the quest afew times before it will work correctly thus i say Save the game soon as u get in the Chamber to save a lot of repeat work.
Cheers all now i can complete the game.
