Killed her, but no quest log or anything. What am I missing?

How did you kill her? There is a swarm of guys in with her and they wipe me every time. My party setup is my rogue, alistair, leliana, and wynn. I might replace liliana with zevren for more dps maybe. This is the first fight I've really struggled with.

Well, I'm playing on easy after I was facing a drake a long time ago and I couldn't get passed. Yes that room where you talk for a bit and then kill everyone, basically both sides of the quest are stuck. I'm suppose to be able to open a chest or something, but I can't even do that and the marker points to a chest that I can't interact with.

Ah. I'll keep bouncing my head off things for now then. I like the challenge of normal and refuse to go to easy for the fight . If I make it past it I'll do my best to help ya bitcloudrzr

u know wut i did with jarvia?

i left did the mage tower, then came back and trounced her

having shale helps, with quake u can take out 2-3 archers like that

I did the quest over level 12.

Go back to whoever asked you to kill her and see what he says, make sure you were actaully asked to kill her and not to collect something too.

He keeps asking me why I haven't killed her yet. The dwarf prince dude. The chest I'm suppose to interact with for another quest I can't interact with.

Do you have a save anywhere close to that point ?

I've heard about similar thigns for other quests, like the quest not actually updating. Mostly for chantry quests but can probably happen on main quests too.

Hmmm I finally beat her. My quest log didn't update until after I looted her key from her body? Have you done that? If not , not sure what else the problem could be.

What is the key called? I don't have any key in my quest items inventory.

No I don't have another save.

Doh. I think it was just Javria's Key or something similar. ALWAYS keep multiple saves in RPGs like this so if you run into a similar issue you aren't screwed.

This is the only time I forgot to do so. Oblivion, F3, always had a few.

From the time you posted that message, I made a new character and finished the game straight lmao. I just want all my Bioware Social stuff to work now. I kind of messed up my build too, oh well.

Killed her around level 13, used Morrigan to cast alot of AoE spells to nuke her and her lackeys. Managed to finish her off with Shale.
