Of course there's the argument that not everybody is required to dl DLC. But apart from that, I think the idea about it focusing on 'relationships' in its broadest sense, where it encompasses depth of friendship AND romances is a great one.

I'd honestly prefer a relationship pack that would expand on all of the canon relationships, including friendships.  Romance-only DLC would be great and all, but the potential for it falling flat is greater than if all of the relationships were expanded improved.

And I'm proud to admit that I want Joker to be an LI, but I feel like it would make more sense if he was only available through DLC.  The idea of him only being an available LI for downloading by Shoker fans seems right to me.

Romance DLC? You bet! Best idea since bring Kasumi on board. But yeah, no new romances, I want to experience established ones on a bigger scale.

Ashley, Liara, Kelly, Jack, Kaidan, Miranda talking more love - so worth it! :-D

Personally I'd prefer it if they packed it with their expansion pack. It'd feel kinda weird buying dlc for just in-game romance

I like the idea of expanding the relationships, in both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age. I think it would make the relationships deeper if there was more dialogue and other characters actually noticed. The article also mentioned the Hammerhead. I would love more missions with it. I could spend hours jumping from place to place in the Hammerhead.

Extending romance options would be the best thing Bioware could do right now imho.

The game just felt so empty without Romance from Tali after I finished it.

I like the idea of a romance pack, but Bioware should show more skin in the romance DLC imo. It also needs to include Miranda.

 I wouldn't buy any DLC that pretty much forces me to make a decision I wouldn't want to make in order to be able to play it.

Not to mention that a romance pack would be just a poor excuse for additional content...

I believe this idea is great, quite original to be honest. As for the people commenting that we, those who support the idea, should go play a dating sim, hush now. Mass Effect asides the combat and RPG, is an interactive drama on which your choices matter and everyone here wants to see those choices played out.

Totally support this.
It's something different, and I'd rather have this than say... an extra 5 unimportant missions on 5 new unimportant planets flying around in a hover tank, collecting resources from glowing circles on the ground (off the top of my head)

To a lot of people, myself included, the best part of gameplay is the character stuff. Friendships, romance, getting to know your squad mates rather than running around  shooting stuff. I enjoy that too, don't get me wrong, but I do that in a lot of other games as well. There's few games that focus on characters.

I'd rather have an expac with 15 / 20 hours of gameplay rather than another 7$ DLC with 30 mins of gameplay, even if said DLC is very well designed.

EDIT : of course an expac that would pursue storyline AND romances (ie : not like DA Awakening).

And I'm not talkin sex, but that would be nice :3, but also like dialogue between the characters, like pet names, all that rainbows and butterflies schtuff.



Also, everyone you didn't romance, have more dialogue, and maybe they could find interest in the other crewmates too!!
