Hey all, my turn. I would definitely buy a romance pack if they came out with it. On the other hand a lot of these suggestions I read seem like Bioware might be waiting for ME 3. I mean, a romance pack bringing back ME 1's LI (Ash, Kaidan, Liara) would take out a whole element they should be dealing with in ME 3 yeah? Jealousy or friction or whatever you want to call it.
Also, not everyone who plays ME 3 will have played the DLC so...

All in all, I am so for this idea, hands down. But we might not get everything we want. Glad to see there's quite a bit of support though

I'm all for a romance DLC. Though I hate to say this, but with a lot of the romances, sans a few, they all seemes like flings (the ones I'd exclude are Jack's, Thane's and Tali's romance plots). Somesort of romance pack would add a lot more death, and offer new oppurtunities. If BioWare made one, I'd buy it immediatly.

I just want the romances to be integrated into the story better. Like have brand new scenes if you have your LI in your combat team, or dialog. It feels like the LI is there just to fool around in between missions, and once the other team members show up its like, "she/he has cooties, we are so not together!"

I would like a 'Romance Pack' if it included additional options for Shepard, i.e.: same-sex options, post-Horizon interaction with Kaidan/Ashley, and post-Illium interaction with Liara. I would also like expanded dialogue with Miranda, Jack, Tali, Garrus, Thane and Jacob. And if they want to go back and re-write and re-record the FemShep/Jacob conversations, that would be fine with me too.



Most importantly though, I hope they show the 'romances' as something more than a hookup. I want to get the sense that Shepard genuinely cares about the paramour, not that Shepard is just looking for a little action. Steamy sex scenes aren't necessary, a lot can be done without resorting to gratuituous nudity and lots of moaning. A little skin is fine, but I think most of us women aren't looking for full-on porn.



Also, how about expanding Shepard's friendships? It seems like there is a lot of wasted opportunities for Shepard to deepen the ties to the squad in general, but that is a LOT of voice work and writing, so I'm not going to hold my breath. :/

i actully agree save the sweat sweat fruit like liara and tali romance for me3 leet us have something great to look forward to..

How about starting at the beginning then, with better relationships overall? The entire system used is flawed - you can't screw up a romance unless you really go for it, you can't be friends with LIs you are not interested in; relationships go too fast, you can never make someone leave the party out of disappointment or frustration or whatever and so on. I want a totally reworked relationships system, including the romances.



Since I have now played DAO (yay...) I must say that system was MUCH better in all aspects.

Consider the fact that with many LIs dead it would be easier to expand romances in a ME2 DLC than in a whole ME3

I dont think it has to be a mutually exclusive thing - Bioware could release a ME2 romance pack DLC with some extra conversation, missions, dates, items etc, and still have plenty of scope for bringing them to a fulfilling climax in ME3.
