I'd be all for it BUT:

The "Go on a date" thing sounds like "Doll up, buy a present & try to get some before the evening's over." That I do not want. I'd like more dialogue, missions, recognition of my LI by my squad (DA's banters are supreme here!), more depth & consequences... Friendship paths, rebuking somebody should also have consequences for a while...and PLEASE, OH PLEASE rewrite and rerecord the Jacob romance. Also, don't tease us with the possibility of linking suits with Tali as a FemShep without following through (Yet Kelly gives Fem Shep exotic dances?)...

No half baked new LIs (Zaaed format!) either, please.

Yes, yes, I'm asking for quite a lot here. But a gal can dream, no? Besides, if anyone can pull this off, Bioware can! ;)))).

Matdeception, I know people scream "dating sim", but I dont see the problem. For a start, its optional - if you dont want the content then either dont talk to them or just rebuke them. And second, even if they added an hour of LI stuff there is still hours and hours of carnage in ME2. There is only maybe an optional 10-15 minutes of love interest stuff in any play through as opposed to the hundreds of potential combat encounters, so why not add some extra bits for those who want it.

Anyway, my wider view is that, at the end of the day in any role playing game, you are supposed to be fighting for something. Friends, family, home, lovers. Why just be there to kill some external threat?

If we are just in it for the killing, isnt that a bit shallow?

It doesnt have to be romance, it could just be friendship. I always found it slightly disappointing in Fallout 3 that you couldnt build a relationship with anyone. Not even your dog. You have a house but no one visits. You end up just strolling the wastes doing things for other people, but never yourself, your own happiness doesnt factor in. Is that true to life? Is that a role anyone would choose to play if they had a choice?

I'll stop now!!

Rob FTW.

I'd rather they work on real DLC.

You are aware that's a subjective measure of quality, aren't you?

Real DLC and video games as whole is so not subjective. Who cares if there is a variety of movie, music, TV, and book genres. Who cares if there are different sports for different tastes? 'SPLOSHUNS are the only things that really matter in a good video game. And headshots.

I would love a romance DLC pack. I'd like to see more dialogue and more things happening with the LI's as there wasn't any more interaction with the LI until the romance scene and then a little afterward.
