The more effort they put into each of the relationships, the better the replayability of the game.
I've read at least one concern about this being unfair to the relationships of the first game--I think this would actually help make the significance of the relationships of the second game more on par with that of the first. Or if it does end up raising the bar, that'd eventually pan out well for the relationships of the first game, since more will be demanded of them in the third.

I don't see that it will be unfair to me1 LIs I think if bioware are going to do it they will also put them in the dlc I would love to go deeper into liara and ash and kaidan after the me2 meetings with them

Bioware ought to develop a gamer girl super romance pack. Seriously, the girl gamers would explode over that. I am sure there quite a few guys that would buy it too. I might buy it myself out of curiosity.

I would buy it as long as they don't call it a gamer girl super romance pack.

I speculate that that could be complicated, since it seems like they've set things up for a proper reunion in ME3. Fleshing out those relationships in between games could diminish the impact of those reunions. But then I don't know what Bioware has in store.
