But I read that "take leliana on a date" quip...joking or not, PLEASE no.
Love tali to death, but not interested in taking people on dates in the middle of saving the flippin' galaxy. Just some more interaction and dialogue is sufficient for me thanks.

Expanded dialogue is fine. Giving the ME1 romances proper continuation...hell anything really, is fine.

I dont see it being dates unless they do add the bar shepard mentioned to jacob in the game as the ship did need fixing up after the suicide mission

Ha, honestly I think a "date-date" could be a little silly, but if it's set up more like another unique mission with a single story and objective in mind, they could do some cool things with it. Just doing some little errand with your LI; more opportunities for dialogue, maybe a cute cutscene or two.

They are going to have to pay the VAs to come back.
What if one of the VAs turns it down?
Will they scrap the whole thing?

It is a great idea but this pack must have a price on it.

Why would an actor turn down work?

So this pack will apply only to characters in ME2?

Like I said, the more they give the ME2 romances, the more they'll owe the ME1 romances. So everybody wins, right?

And the more romance packs they make, the more they'll owe the "I HATE ROMANCES WANNA KILL STUFF" people as well.Ray Joel Oh wrote...

So really- in the larger schemes of much DLC- everyone can be happy and stop hating on individual components.

How much they owe doesn't mean jack in regards to what they'll pay. They will do what they think will make the most money. Which means the ME1 LI fans need to make their presence known.

You could just do it post-suicide mission. No problems there. Or you could, you know, not get it.KainrycKarr wrote...

A romance pack would be pretty awesome. It be nice to have additional romance dialogue. It would also be nice to at least have your LI not repeat the same line after the final mission that they say right before you enter the omega 4 relay.
thats what i hate the most nothing to say after the mission i think everyone should of had something to say after the mission INSTEAD OF GREAT JOB DESTROYING THE COLLECTOR base or should have not given Cerberus the base

cost vs profit....being paid DLC and what it would cost to make it and voice it...and the fact that there aren't enough people that would PAY for this kind of DLC to make it worthwhile.
do you think the GoW/Halo kiddies give a crap about romances? much less pay for them? not very many..
just not enough a following to make it cost-productive to do something like this..EA would never ok it.

Depends on how much boob you get to see.
Seriously though, I think it'd be a good experiment for them to try, either with this or Dragon Age. I think they might get a really big response.

Would make me feel less bad about picking one over another if I'm ensuring every one is getting some.
To make it RPG-ish you would have to pick a couple that has mutual interests yadayadayada and a successful paring improves stats for both character matched.

I'm not sure about this, I think the majority of Mass Effect fans and owners enjoy the game for the story and the dialogue, so this DLC would make a profit. I doubt the shooter fans will buy any DLC anyway unless they are achievement freaks.

Over 2 million copies of the game has been sold.....people will pay....Hell I would pay 50 bucks or more just to have a more fleshed out Tali romance.

Well I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything it's just...Idk, doesn't that seem a little too close to dating-sim type stuff?
I mean come on, a date? Really?
And of course I could not get it. No need to be snippish. I'm just voicin' my opinion.

lolwat?
what about the thousands of pages of fan-threads for LI's?
hell go to any forum. Most people are using the romances. they wouldn't be in the game were that not the case, for the very reason you're saying they wouldn't do a romance pack.
