Whatever happened to the thread that had the Romance Pack proposal? Someone needs to revive that thread...

Here it is! I love it...though I'd add I would want something for the ME1 LI's included.
ME1 LI's have to be giving something. They just have to. I just didn't enjoy the ME2 romance options as much. Of my 6 or 7 Female Shepard's only 2 didn't stay true to Kaidan and of my 3 Male Shepard's, well I'm not sure what they are doing yet. But a romance pack should include something for Kaidan/Ash and Liara fans.

I hope it expands on current LI storylines. A mission to rescue Kaiden/Ashley, earning their gratitude and upping internal conflict would be hilarious.
For Garrus, I have no idea what his would be...
Tali another Migrant Fleet mission, or something between her and the geth?
Miranda/Jacob probably Cerberus or family related
Jack/Thane something to slow/stop what's killing 'em
Any of these would be awesome
I don't particularly want to rescue my LI. I see my LI as able to take care of him/her self. But maybe joining them to save someone else would be good.
And more e-mails with the ability to send some kind of answer. Shepard's poor Spacer mom is still waiting the hear back from her.
I would be interested in helping Liara go up against the shadow broker (another thread suggested this). If they could combine this with interaction between Shepard and whoever the LI is, I'd definitely be in favor of it.

I think some folks get into tunnel vision when it comes to talking about something like this. It doesn't have to mean a dating sim.
Mass Effect is about Shepard and saving the known galaxy...yes....but part of Shepard are the relationships he forms, even if some choose not to form any at all and treat the game like Gears or Halo. ME is a good action game, but it's also a good story driven, dialogue tree game.

As a matter of a fact, Bioware, you can pretty much consider this post as a legally binding contract stating I will purchase your product.

When BioWare charges you $50 I want a copy of the receipt.

time I read a thread discussing this idea, they were suggesting a
"date" mission that involved taking your LI on a trip to someplace from
Shepard's past... (Torfan for the ruthless, Akuze for the sole
survivor, and Elysium for the war hero) I think this is an incredible
idea!!

if they had a good mission(s), and the increased dialog with the LI of your choice, plus some friendship options, I'd pay that $50 and send you a copy. But I do thing they have to include the whole package.

Because nothing screams romantic like some Barry White music and the sun setting over the field where my entire squad was slaughtered by a Thresher Maw.

Regardless any DLC along these lines must include a beach on Virmire, Margaritas, and Miranda and/or Liara (preferably and) in space bikinis. Naturally, I wouldn't mind to see Tali in a space bikini either; but I'm afraid we don't have the technology.
PS: Did anyone else find it odd that Miranda thought the most romantic spot on the ship would be the engine core, the engine core which can be viewed from every deck on the ship?

I support Romance DLC/Pack/Expansion. Would buy. Possibly twice...
Agreed. Having a mission and dialogue is IMO the ideal DLC for Mass Effect. It doesn't even have to be a romance pack, I want more conversations with all my crewmates, instead of calibrations for half the game.

Did find it odd. Considered it a calculated move. Other LI for MaleShep are in Engineering. Other crewmembers can see. To me this translated to: "In your face Jack and Tali! Look everyone! I got Shepard!" May not have been intent... Miranda seems nicer during build up to romance.

I'd throw down a little cash for it. I liked Miranda; but I did sort of feel like the romance with her was more of a fling than the love story that ME1 provided. Of course given my feelings about the romances in ME1 the opportunity to spend some more quality time with Liara would also be quite welcome.

People give Kelly a hard time because shes very open sexually. Miranda on the other hand is a freakin exabitionist.

Good point. Any kind of cooperative mission would be great. And yes, definitely Liara-Shadow Broker, regardless of whether she's a LI or not

I don't think there's really any plot reason for it, I think the developers just wanted to do something different and the engine core was the only logical change of scenery (I doubt asking Samara if we could borrow her quarters for a while would have gone over very well). The thought of Miranda as an exhibitionist didn't occur to me at the time; but then I was hanging out in the armory one day looking down at the engine core and I thought...."Hey look down there that's where me and Miranda....wait a second."
On an aside, there are more subtle ways to show Jack and Tali that Shepard is her man than giving the entire crew a free peep show. I mean Miranda and Shepard are in command, I'm not sure how effectively you could command the respect of your crew after they saw you and the first officer getting it on.

Yeah, that seems most likey.
Another possibility is that there aren't any Cerberus bugs in the engine room.
