My wish list for this pack?



-The ability to possibly have same sex romance options

-extended romance sequences between you and your love interest (LI) from the first game.

-having your LI from the second game actually acknowledge your relationship after the fact... rather than just be annoyingly coy and repeating the LAST conversation you had with them.

-missions involving the LI's past.

-NEW LIs that people asked for and still didn't receive (I think Morinth and Samara.. and Shiala were among these... bollucks if I know any others... I just wanted femShep and Tali XD)

-New character outfits unlocked only from completing a romance (for Shepard and the LI).

-A custom weapon/armor piece made for you by your specific LI.

So... why are people so excited? Every interview I've read/seen with Greg and Ray every stupid random idea/suggestion the interviewer comes up with they always answer the same way with something like "yeah, that's an interesting idea". That doesn't mean they're in any way actually realistically intending to do anything about it. How is this different?

While I agree with statements where people want to be able to "develop friendships" with various squadmates without necessarily having to romance them, and I hope that's included--just because I'm pursuing one love interest in games doesn't mean I don't care about the other team members--I really do love the romantic aspects of the game. And of course, anyone who doesn't can choose not to play one.



What I like about ME is that it has romance and characterization as well as action and puzzles and shooting. A little bit of everything.

In this interview they actually said they were considering it... or at least it sounded that way.

Same sex LIs would be trivial for BioWare to do, they already have the Shep VA's dialog in the game. It'd be free money.
It'd be worth it to see the rageposts from the "You can't make this fictional character gay!" crowd.

I would take a DAge romance pack if it did two things: 1) expanded the FemWarden/Alistair romance, and 2) made Anders romanceable.  *siiiiiiiiiiigh*  My female Dalish wants her some apostate, dangit!

I would take an ME2 romance pack if it expanded the FemShep/Garrus stuff.

I would also want a huge dialogue/conversation pack, and if I had to choose either dialogue or romance, I'd be at an impasse for what to pick.  GAH.

This thread blew up. I guess Bioware will realize how critical most people feel romances are to their games, lol.



I am all for greater depth in relationships in general. Whether being good friends with Garrus or expanding your relationship with Tali or Liara. Maybe they can borrow some of the EA Sims team for some ideas!

I think the sheer amount of joy I would get from the rage that crowd would make... would rationalize that free money. Totally worth it.

I will have you know my Sims character cheated with every woman on the block with no negative consequences.  Such a game is STEEPED in realism.

With that said, a relationships pack in general sounds like a good idea.  I imagine ME 3 will have more RPG elements in general, but it would be nice to develop the current cast more.
