18th seems likely as PSN updates Thursday i believe.

I will hopefully be able to download it tomorrow if that is so, but i am busy tomorrow and if i have to wait for friday i will just get the boxed version

I have a feeling the disc version would be more reliable than the downloaded game - but i havent got proof nor have i played a downloaded game

It was not a question of "global release". PSN currently releases updates on Thursday. You should see it on PSN tomorrow.

And PSN can update really late in the day sometimes. Like 8pm or so in North America...

Steam is refusing to sell it prior to the EU date as well even for countries that aren't technically EU.

I want my Awakening. It's the 18th now and has been for more than an hour. I've been sleeping most of the day, so I was ready for the game to be downloaded at midnight, but now I'm just feeling that it's a complete waste that I took tomorrow off to play Awakening, when it's not released on time.

It's the 18th in all of Europe by now
For the slowest ones, UK and Portugal, it has been the 18th for 28 minutes now.

Steam store has the game as released (march 18) on store front page. But the game library still have it as "not yet released"
Oh well, patience is a virtue.....

lol. It's been 4 hours since it turned march 18th CET... If you order a pre-order by mail, you most often get it 2-3 days after release day. If you pre-order it in store you have go to the store when it opens maybe about 10 hours after midnight and there's a great chance you'll have to wait in line.



If steam can manage to give me a pre-order before half of release day is over, I'll stick with them.

its 2;35pm on release day (Australia)... and I took the day off for this... have to work all week from tomorrow...
you can't understand how that's frustrating?
I could be playing it now if I hadn't pre-ordered it.

(all week meaning for a week streight, not till the end of the week)

I can understand your frustrations, hopefully one day Oceania gets its own region being in EU sucks. And to think EB has had it on sale the last 2 days!!



Ah well looks like I'm off to work for the next 7 hours, hopefully it should be up by the time I get home tonight.
