I am on PS3. I am using an Elf Mage. Vigilance and Sentinel Armor are still bugged on her besides the helmut. Appearantly the glitch is for both humans and any type of Mage, elf AND human.

reguarding my previous post, this was before and after runes... I saved beforehand to make sure it didn't matter if I added runes and then put it on. It made no difference. I placed the armor and Vigilance on Sigrun as well; they do not appear correctly. Oghren is the only character the Sentinel armor appears correctly on; Vigilance is still glitched on Oghren.

they'll probably give us a patch when the the next expansion and/or sequal comes out knowing how EA runs Bioware

People are whining because we paid for an unfinished product... If you do not care about the fact there are bugs in the game than this is not where you belong... Obviously you are happy with it, we however know the value of our money and paying 40 dollars for an expansion was a big pricetag, only to deal with it not working as properly as it should? that is why we are demanding that the product we bought be exactly what we paid for

Its been two weeks now and still no fix or mention of a date when we can expect one, seriously how long can it take to come up with a patch to sort it out?

It's like they have our money and don't care – come on BioWare, don't treat your customers like EA do because we all know you are better than that!

The disc has a patch on it and once the new one comes out will the older patch roll it back to the bugged version?

^ yeah, I didn't even finish Awakening and i'm thinking of trading DA:O and Awakening in. What pisses me off is I bought the game within first week of release to show support, but bioware doesnt show any support to any of us back.

Try this for a work-around folks until a patch happens:

1. First step is to delete Origins and Awakening from your PS3. This won't delete your save games, just the game data. More importantly, this will also delete the DLC data.

2. Reinstall DAO and DAA onto your PS3.

3. Reinstall any DLC you want. If you purchased any DLC it won't ask you to purchase again, it should be showing as downloaded but not installed. Go ahead in install only the DLC you want on your PS3. This is the time where if you are having problems with Warden's Keep in Awakening, don't install it.

Without Warden's Keep, The Vengeance sword and Sentinel armor will look as they should.

***A quick warning though, if you do not install the DLC you had before, any saves made during that time probably won't load for you and may tell you that there is DLC missing. New games in either DAO or DAA should work fine.***

It's basically what I did but I'd like to be able to play all the DLC content I paid for without affecting anything else.

Warden's Keep doesn't play a factor plot wise in Awakening. If you don't have it installed when you start a new game in DA:A, you aren't going to miss anything and the Sentinel armor should look normal. As for Warden's Keep gear, none that transfers into Awakening anyway.

I know that but I still paid for Warden's keep. I'd like to have all this stuff working properly.

I tried uninstalling wardens keep for awakening but the thing is u cant use a character that has played wardens keep in awakening in you go that route.

Could the reason for this be because if you complete Warden's Keep, you gain those two Power of Blood spells and those do transfer over into Awakening?

or maybe Awakening just sucks? I bought it first week and played it for 3 days without finishing it because the bugs, I could of spent that money on the new GTA IV DLC's and would of had way more fun.

This only works for NEW games.  If you transferred a character your save will corrupt and be unplayable (mine only transferred Wade's Dragonbone armor - sold rest, so it must be the blood abilities and not items)!!  Also, in doing this it corrupted some other file as now all the specilizations are greyed out again and need to be unlocked.  And since I already bought the manuals, I can't have any respecs or new specializtions for the rest of that entire save game - THANKS.

Seriously... how hard is it to name textures with unique names and send the patch for Sony approval?  It should take you less than 10 minutes and should of been done within the first week of release.  Are you guys down to one programmer with down syndrome?  Hire a QA tester?  I mean if you actually played the game you get the armor at the same time you get Justice - wouldn't you attempt putting the new armor on the new character (no way! who would do that).  You are making more enemies than friends with your crap - expect any future dlc/xpac sales to be nonexistent.
