No matter how cute though it is doubtful they could compete with asari... at least not for a few more generations. Too many male krogans jumping ship for asari. The only krogan females breeding are resistant to genophage and can keep males from becoming "hot for asari"

You know what? I'd love if there was an option to go to the female camp, but when you get there all you see are big boxes with exclamation marks that say "MESH NOT FOUND"
A giant yellow exclaimation point is probably there

Females would need to be able to be more maneuverable to watch for predators and protect the young.

Fem Krogans should have a nice belly or may be a different hump, a bit wide in the bottom but shorter than the male one, something like that.
Against predators or they are more light (escape) than the males or bigger (confront/intimidate). They could have feathers as deterrent element too, but this would be more logical in the first case (small/light).
Would be interesting see a fem krogan

They aren't boobs, they are auxillary humps that in time of draught/famine can excrete a fatty liquid to keep offspring alive. Milk is modified sweat, what krogans have is probably a mixture of blood and neural fluid with liquid fats and oils

He says it himself. He's been delayed in going to the rite - a male coming of age ritual - so that he can aid the females.

Most peoples assumption that it's female is based on two things.
1: The voice. Yes it sounds different, but it's still a masculine voice. He's just young.
2: He's the "Female Envoy"
If you listen. He says "I am the Envoy FOR the females" For, not from. For implies a since of seperation. He represents them, he is not one of them.

I recall the the scouting master on tuchanka saying that the women and children are weak. weak. Maybe it wasn't only a sexist thing. what if krogan females are more humanoid/human-like than the males.
then again, what if the varren are the krogan females<_<
Hahahaha all I can think of is Mordin talking about the sexually transmitted rash and how only varren can get it or something.

Keep Kelly away from varren. Scale itch epidemic likely outcome. Quite disturbing implications

-First of all, we're talking about aliens. So the earth "mammal" and "reptile" classifications don't work there.
-Second, we're talking about a SPACE OPERA. Do you know hor HARD it is to make an anthropomorphic creature femenine without using typical femenine traits?
I don't like it any more than you do, because I always prefer science fiction to aim "higher" than that. But as I said, this is a space opera. Entertainment. You won't be getting complicated alien designs, EXCEPT for villians maybe.
Just don't get all obsessed with scientific accuracy in a game that features an all-female species of blue women. Christ....

Its nice to have some scientific explanation
Turians are easy because the avian breastbone makes them look like they have a uni-boob anyway.
