I seriously doubt they'll take several years, it has to come out before the 360's life cycle is up...
I was honestly worried about the same thing.

I hate it when PC games are hindered by being developed with consoles in mind. Only if consoles didn't come in generations...
Meh don't be grumpy. Not having to upgrade my machine for ME3 is actually a good thing in my book.

That's why PC games (unlike the PC version of ME2) actually have performance options which allow you to play on older machines.
Besides, it's not just the graphics etc, it's also the amount of content. With X360 you have to swap discs and that potentially limits the amount of content in the game. With the PC, no such limitation exists except financially, which is why I said it'd be great if consoles didn't come in generations.

So long as it doesn't get the Kotor2 treatment, and have the epic ending to an epic story cut to bare threads just so they can make a release date, I'm cool with whatever date they choose to release it.
Well from what I've seen, that was LucasArt pushing Obsidian on that one. Plus Obsidian seem to cut content for release dates every now and then. I'm sure Bioware will take as much time as it takes to give us the finale everyone wants.

Thats right but a huge amount of sales goes to the consoles crowd and that means bigger development budgeds to start with. Its not all that bad

Then why didn't you say that before?
Sorry I'm just messing around. Did not want to have the old comsoles vs. PC war to start here.
Not saying you wanted to start it. I'll just shut up...

I don't get what you are saying about this consoles and generations. Are you saying it's a shame they need to rush the game out to hit this generation of console? Or are you saying it's a shame the graphics and power is limited to this generation?
I think he was saying it's a pity that the gameplay, complexity, and storyline has to be dumbed down to satisfy the average drooling ADHD-affected console player.
