Who is better at detonating warps?  Adept or Sentinel?

Which teammates do you bring?  Who does the barrier/shield/armor stripping?  Who pulls?  And who detonates?

Sentinel since you have you have the option of insanely fast cooldowns. Plus power armor gives +15% power damage if you go that route. You can choose Reave as a bonus power and specialize in AoE stripping, while your party pulls>warp. Jacob/Jack and Miranda are a good choice for this since Jacob/Jack can give you ammo on top of Pull Field. Miranda for Warp obviously. Downside to this is you can't have warp explosions on certain loyalty missions.

If you want to be the Warper you won't be as powerful against collectors since only Shepard can one shot barriers with Area Reave as far as I can tell, but you will have a more powerful Warp explosion. You also won't be prevented from using Warp explosions on loyalty missions that require you to take someone without Pull/Warp. With this set up you can still take Jack/Jacob for ammo and Pull Field, but Miranda should be swapped out for Mordin when fighting Blood Pack. When on loyalty missions that stick you with someone you don't want, bring Jack/Jacob and with the super fast cooldowns, you can be the stripper and the warper.

Well, the sentinel can only detonate, unless you pick up a bonus skill. I believe caster sent also gets more +powerdmg% than the adept. Miranda and then jacob/samara/morinth/jack, probably jack for the squad warp ammo.
Adept can quite happily bring miranda and thane and serve them detonatable enemies nearly non stop, and then blow one up themselves.
It's not fun to consistently do this through a whole playthrough though, it gets a bit repetitive.

edit: bah, like ramsenc said, sent gets more cd than adept, not power dmg.

For me (Sentinel) it's

Jacob/Samara (as soon as available) pulling

Miranda/Garrus/Tali and me stripping down defenses + support (concussive blast, explosive drone, Slam respectively)

Best occasion is with Miranda. I detonate for clear shot traget and midly covered target (using the curveable course of warp bolt), and she does when mine is likely to miss

I think it would be the same damage wise. Both have the same talents regarding warp.. both at rank 4 have the option for the +15% power or -30% cool down bonus (instead of -20% if taking the 15% damage bonus). All get the same upgrades and can wear the same armor bonus.

Sentinel and Adept, though any class with bonus talent can easily participate in Warp explosions. But they are way too powerful for my liking.

I'm thinking Guardian Sentinel with Power Armor then.

Sentinel doesn't have the ability to start a warp explosion on its own. Also note that even with the greatest cooldowns in the game, Sentinel is far slower with powers than any other class because of the lengthy Tech Armor duration.

Adept is by far the more offensive warp exploder.

You want to Slam someone with warp, so either take the bonus skill yourself or get miranda to do it.

As an Infiltrator with Miranda and Samara for warp detonate what's a good setup and tactic for faster explosions?

Personally, i wouldn't waste my time with warp explosions unless your doing the exploding yourself. Its generally quicker just to use warp to strip armor i think.

As far as tactics go you have me stumped. Just freeze frame and use Pull/Slam and warp at the same time as soon as their armor is dropped.

Sentinel does not need to start warp explosions, just bring Jack/Jacob with you at all times. You don't have to cast Tech Armor all the time either. If theres a Warp explosion opportunity in front of you don't cast Tech Armor, simple as that. Also Warp explosions are just fine with squad mates doing the exploding, check my Energy Drain Vanguard video if you don't believe me. Even if the explosion will be a little weaker it's hardly a waste of time.

Both handle Warp Detonations well. But the Adept has more skills to set one up. Pull and Singularity have really short cooldowns and Singularity, in my opinion, sets up the best warp explosion.

A sentinel can either have +15% power damage and -30% cool down (Raider/Power armor) or +30% power damage and -20% cool cool down (Guardian/Power armor) whereas the Adept can only come with +15% damage and -20% cooldown (Nemesis) To associate numbers with this lets look at Heavy warp (200 damage) and assume you have all biotic upgrades (20% cool down, 50% dmg). With the first Sentinel build you will do 330 dmg and warp will recharge in 3 seconds. With the second build Warp will do 360 dmg and recharge in 3.6 sec. The Adept will do 330 dmg and recharge in 3.6 sec. So really the overall difference is pretty insignificant. The main difference is that the adept can set up their own warp explosions without the help of squadies.
