I'm clicking on the area transition, and my guys move there, but nothing happens...
I can't go back the way I came (return path) and it seems as if the only way out of Lothering, to the world map, is broken??

Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a workaround?
I've tried reloading saved games, entering and leaving the tavern, etc.
Nothing helps

If I remove my party, then add characters back in while standing with my side against teh invisible wall at the transition point, I can push into the other side, where you cannot normally go.

Still can't travel, but kinda strange that I can pass through that wall....



Has anyone had this problem and found a workaround?

Jeez. All these issues I'm reading about are making me glad I haven't downloaded the new patch. Does it actually fix anything, or does it just break more things?

I haven't experienced any problems with the patch.

I don't know if it's a patch issue. I've the same problem after enabling character upload. Patched game to fix it - didn't help.

Reinstalled. The same problem.

Cannot travel, map doesn't open and if I bring it up it doesn't respond to mouse cliks.

The same problem with level-up. Can't start the GUI.



Disabling all DLC didn't help.



How do I get rid of the free ring got after uploading CC character? Maybe it's the culprit. Game was working perfectly before uploading my char. :-(

P.S.

It was the toolset, not any DLC. I've panicked a little after batteling for 2 hours with this bug yesterday.

Look for solution in 'Cannot start new game, module not found' threads, if you still stuck.

I cant seem to get out of Lothering either...And i haven't upgraded with any patch or downloaded the toolset...It's the original game. Im going crazy!!!!

I have encountered the same bug. I am using the latest patch. The transition to the world map after completing Lothering was working in my first few play thrus but for most recent 3 characters, they have all gotten stuck at this point (now I right click when I see the arrow pointing up and the transition does not work). I have tried at least 6 cycles of saving, exit the game and reload the game with the last play thru and I am still stuck. EA customer support can't help with game mechanic issues, they recommend posting at http://social.bioware.com/ (which I guess is here). I am not sure if it is time to reinstall the whole game or not.

I was able to resolve the problem by uninstalling an older version of dim_Improved_Items and then reinstalling dim_Improved_Items_v15 using DAModder. I also removed Citadel.dazip and Ras_Armory-140.dazip but I am not sure if these contributed to my problem or not. Try using the wsad keys, rather than right clicking (just for giggles).

I'm having similar problems. I heard it might be because we're of the Rogue path? I dunno.

I can access the map, but when I try and go someplace it says in gray writing that "You cannot travel at this time."

Yea, im having the same issue, ima elf rogue and ive done every quest i can in lothering then i try to leave, walking into it or right clicking, none of them seem to work. ive saved, and reloaded many times but can never get it to work. its annoying.

Just got this issue on my 3rd time through, which is weird cause like 2 days ago I passed through Lothering on my Rogue character and had no issues...



Anyone know a solid fix yet?

suffering from this bug with my 2nd Char... (Elf Mage) really driving me nuts cause I was hoping to get the bloodmage unlock (Q_Q)



the only addon I have is the Raven Respec one... (cause I had to respec Morrigan to healer in my 1st playthrough cause I killed Wynn O_o)

okay, by quitting and restarting the game it worked again... had the same thing once more in the mages tower... right after talking to Wynne... saving & reloading the save fixed it...

My question is and I have all the patches, the game shut down on me twice in Lothering when trying to renter the place I got the make poison quest. Is this normal if you have another quest activated. I've had experience with games shutting down is past, but had a new rig built and played all the latest Crysis,farcry2,modern warfare2 etc. So I know it's not my puter. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I did replay from camp and got the bandits quest completed AND NOW HAVE THE BEAR quest. However I guess in essence does the game shut down if you do wrong things?

Disabling a few mods and restarting the game worked for me.
