Any one have a step by step arcane warrior guide (How to get the specialization and what skills/attributes to use)?

I am going arcane warrior - full magic and will power - with the Ice weapon spell also running a ton of buffs from the creation tree. It requires lots of pots because of all the sustained stuff

oh and sorry regarding your question, you need a little bit more constitution, a little bit more dex. and to equip the best armor you need around 42 magic (not sure about the last part)

if you want to spec purely for arcane warrior then dont take all passive aura's, debuffs etc using spells is costly and slow in combat magic form so auras are your thing

Thats a way to do it. but i generally blow my mana on heavy hitting aoe's and then switch to combat magic while your mana regenerate. if you have fade shroud and power of blood your mana can regenerate at staggering rates. also if you mean aura's in the sense of creation tree aura's know this. the damage you do is weak compared to the primal entropy and even spirit as the aura's are  designed to enhance warriors and rogues who have abilities to hit a target far more often while an arcane warrior only can auto attack.

See arcane warrior as a defensive upgrade and not as a true warrior. plate armor + rock skin is quite imba and i nearly have as much damage resistance as shale who is specced for tanking.

@Ethreallol

They can use both

@Wong028

We are of course only discovering the best combinations. But here are some tips to get you started. one magic is your main spec followed con and willpower. focus on getting the high level spells asap tier 1+2 spells generally suck compared to tier 3+4. whatever you are going to be i will still suggest you take fireball asap

look for armor with will and con and look for amulets rings and gloves that enhances magic. watch the fatigue and try to keep it under 25% otherwise some spells cost to much

I wandered onto Arcane Warrior by luck early, and have been trying to build my PC around that.

Playing on the console, I had chosen early to go for the force field/crushing prison spells, as i wanted good CC. I also picked up all the Earth spells. For more CC, and CC sort of supports Arcane Warrior anyway. Luck down adds or whatever so you can chop down mobs.

Depending on the situation, you can also step back and just fire off spells, or do damage with your staff.

Like others said, Magic and willpower plus con seem to be the most important. Since you throw in as an off tank often with AW, you need hitpoints.

On DLC component that i find has been great with AW is the extra abilities you pick up in Wardens keep. Being able to trade health for mana is just great.

I am level 12 now and miss having some serious ranged offense. I have started slotting Fire Spells, because I want to have Fireball etc.

P.S. As an arcane warrior, I have been running around in the Blood Dragon Armor, but, I don't like the fatigue penalty very much. Casting spells is still critical in every battle. Have not discovered the best armor to equip yet.

Additionally, what is yall's favorite weapon to slot with your AW? I have tried 1H and 2Hs just to experiment, but, i don't think i found the best yet.

I just picked up a 1H with 2 rune slots, so I am looking for +will + Magic runes to beef it up. though right now, it has fire damage runes.

for weapons, in theory, 2h should be better, but I found myself doing more dmg with 2h.

Looks like bonus from Arcane Warrior skills is addictive not multiplicative, so more hits more damage. probably same for icy/fire weps (I use telekinetic weapons, coz I wanted the Prison spell)

My build is basicly one-man army, using healings, armor boosts, stuns and few ranged dmg spells (misterious bolt, stone hand and life drain is preety much all I need)
