Oh yes so true! I loved Anders. It kinda made me wonder, since his aproval was at "love", no romances? Well he sure did hit on me.

And the Architect. I am SO SAD that he didn't appear more. But i am SO GLAD i didn't have to kill him. He is rather silly, doing a *SPOILER* darkspawn joining.

God's sake, THAT'S how you cover a spoiler here? Come on!

Yeah, I'm going to move this over to the spoiler forum. Some people are dropping those bombs a little casually, I'm afraid.

Who wrote what? Let me see...

I wrote Anders, Nathaniel and Justice. Blackmarsh was also me, as was the final area (or part of it, anyhow -- it went through some pretty heavy changes).

Sheryl wrote Oghren, Sigrun and Velanna. Kal'Hirol and Wending Wood were hers, as was the lead-up to the finale in Amaranthine.

Ferret wrote everything that went on in Vigil's Keep.

There are probably other things I'm forgetting.

I just KNEW you wrote Nate!

Edit: Well you wrote two of my favorite new people. <3

I do not condone ferret killing of any sort. Mustelid solidarity. :)

Well, since you're here, now I have to ask also. If you wrote everything in Vigil's Keep, does that mean you wrote Seneschal Varel as well? Because I loved that guy, even if he was a somewhat "minor" NPC. Though I'm also biased -- his VA is awesome.

PS, you cracked me UP on that video back on the fifth. You were so  the whole time. Are you always that excited?

Then perhaps you have an enemy on the team, ser, who wishes you to die a most explosive and bloody death!  Oh nos!  :P  That was a strange and interesting encounter.

Seneschal Varel was one of my characters, yup. I also wrote some of the side plots. The statues of War and Peace, the ransomed lady plot, and other things. I wanted to write more - but I was too busy being the lead designer. :)

And I'm almost always chipper and smiling. I was very excited to show off the game on Xfire, though, so I don't know if I'm usually at that level of bouncy.

Mistress Woolsey, Seneschal Varel and Captain Veravel (hope I spelled it right) are amongst my favorite supporting characters of the entire game (Origins included). Especially Mistress Woolsey, whose political explanation of why the First Warden is interested in the Arl of Amaranthine made me feel incredibly involved in the game and tremendously excited about the political implications!

What can I say? I'm a sucker for political/intrigue plot -- and that's why the "A Brewing Conspiracy" quest is the one I'm almost religiously preserving for the right time! Your doing even this quest, Ferret?

Anyhow, the writing is once again great throughout the game, both when the game is funny (Harren and Wade are priceless) and when it is somber and gloomy.

Oh cool.  Of the non companions Varel was my favorite, he seems pretty competent and if not friendly at least helpful.  Reminds me of Owen in the old Gargoyles TV show.
