As you can see, it has this nasty mark on the lower corner of the Picture. I can't frame it because of that. Could be heat damage. Only 1 out of all 3 that came like that. Other than that the packaging was sturdy. No bents or tears like the last batches.

Might be because of heat of something on the packaging side. Anybody experience this?

My local Michael's has all of their frames 40% off (dunno if it's a nation wide sale)... puts most of them under $20.  Got mine for a good deal there.

wooo your frame is quite nice. i was going to go with a simpleblack one, just because i love the look usually. but i see it can work with your frame too.

I'm in Aus, so im not to sure where to go for a good frame/sale. There aernt many places round here... oh and is that a bobble-head in the corner? LOL XD

@Ablaz3d

No, start a support ticket from the Store. Then they can actually keep track of your problem and work towards a solution.

...though the support case would have to be significantly delayed. I mean, they have a team of support staff working to make sure that everything's all right...Jedi is just one guy who has many other responsibilities. EVIL TENNY!

Though good luck, ablazed.  Personally would rather not even think about what I'd do if my Citadel came home damaged...

Thanks!  Haha it sure is a bobble head.  I don't know if you've seen any Kevin Smith movies, but it's a bobble head of Buddy Christ (from the movie Dogma).

Just discovered the lithographs with the recent auction. So now I'm terribly interested in an unavailable item. Does anyone know if there are plans for more ME releases? Don't really need an exact time frame just curious if I should keep an eye an the store or if they are done with the last release. Thanks, I know there's always ebay but I'd rather give my money to BioWare.

Hi sadmouse - keep an eye on this thread and in this section of the forums; Jedi has been awesome about letting us know when there are new releases coming up.

There are going to be maybe 5-20 of the Citadel, Afterlife, TIM, and Collectors litho released at some point in the future, but it's several weeks out from here, so there's not much you can do except ebay or maybe a trade of some kind. I know it's tough - I missed out on the 'Price of Power' lithograph from Dragon Age and have been kicking myself ever since, *especially* since it also never shows up anywhere else (ebay or what have you).

Damn, sucks about your Collectors Litho. I have a feeling you will resolve the issue. But that is a prime example of what can happen with the way they are shipping them.

It's official - Bioware have created a monster in the Citadel Litho...

One sold on ebay a few hours ago for almost $400. That's like a 1300% increase!!

Yea, once a certain litho sells out, the price really goes up based on the popularity of it. How about that simple suply and demand. On that note, I'm selling 2 not jacked up like crazy ebay costs (see sig).

I actually contemplated saving money for two once a Tali litho releases so that I could make some money for future BioWare Store awesomeness goodies. I've decided not to since it is a super dick move to do and I want my fellow community members to enjoy them as much as I do. They should (if they don't already) limit it to one litho per household. It seems there are only 2 people that actually sells these on ebay too.

You see this with anything in limited supply though. A friend of mine bought a lot of Wiis and sold them jacked up on ebay making a lot of money. He said it was a big hassle though.

Quick poll for folks. Do you think we should limit the amount of Lithographs that a person can purchase during the pre-sale?

No. If someone wants to invest, that's their business. Suppose a person legitimately wants to buy one as a gift as well as one for himself?

I can't really see anyone gambling $300 on ten of any one lithograph. Granted that's a high percentage of the total printing run, but also unlikely. So if someone wants to get one and see how much they can make, by all means. If it means that much money to the buyer, then everyone's satisfied.

I've never had an issue getting the ones I wanted. I also tend to pay very close attention to the comments, too.

its not a common occurance where people are trying to cash-in on sold out lithos. so for now, to make it fair for other customers, if people want to buy it for themeselves & gifts perhaps limiting it to 3-4 lithos per household of the same litho. during pre-sale. (so an order could consist of so 3 citadel's, and 2 afterlifes) is okay by me.

If it continues to pop-up on ebay i'd probably tighten the leash although i dont think it would come to that.

Edit: 11 different sellers. Also checking seller-histroy/completed-listings.
I've only seen 2 sellers selling 2copies of the same Litho in one instance, and another selling 1 of each... so that should give you an idea of where the demand is.
No ones making a killing with multiple copies of the same-lithos(>3),besides the 1 citadel:P. It doesnt seem to be a big-problem yet...

Please do this. While I love the limited nature of the lithographs, it really is a shame that the only way sincere fans can get their hands on the now sold out prints is by going through ebay sellers who originally bought them only to make a quick buck. And with prints like 'Citadel' now fetching $400 on ebay, I am really afraid this is a trend that will quickly gain in popularity. I believe that by limiting the number of prints a single shopper can purchase is at least a good start at nipping this problem in the bud. Thank you.

If you're going to set some sort of limit, make it how many lithographs can be included in a single shipment based on your packaging methods. If someone orders more lithographs that can be packaged together reasonably, then make them submit separate orders and charge them another shipping and handling fee for putting together another package. Aside from that, I don't see how you can effectively limit how many each person can by, since they can just create another account, use a different credit card, put in a different shipping address, etc. to try to get around it. If someone is willing to pay the money and has the opportunity, it's their prerogative to buy as many or as few as they want.

After the last batch of lithos came out there was barely anything on ebay. Not sure what made it so popular all of a sudden. While I don't support the idea of a quantity limit, if there are people buying something like 15+ in one order then maybe that should be looked into.

Also, as for future releases, there isn't a need to really check daily. Then are announced here/have a "coming soon" page in the store well in advance. I usually drop by every 3-4 days but since this thread is so popular I look here every day. They are limited after all...

Speaking of the store...are the 4 new lithos supposed to say "Pre-order," even when it says sold out below?

I would say limit it to 2 of each lithograph per a household. This way no one is cash grabbing off of them, and no one gets shafted that legitametly wanted 2 for whatever reason. However, by announcing two per household on the product screen, that may encourage more people to be two (like a psychological thing).

It hasn't been a big deal on ebay. One guy kept selling them at $1 and $149 shipping to circumvent paying ebay fees, (the later made the shipping $1499). For some reason now people are selling them but it still isn't a lot of people. Really only one guy cashed in and that was the Citadel litho.

I find it shocking that the Citadel litho is such high demand now. I remember back when it was on the Original BioWare Store. It later got moved to the EA Store (which is where I bought it from, you had to search Mass Effect to get to it), it was up there for months. Yet lithos now sell out in a day or so. I find it strange. The ME1 Saren Litho, Citadel Litho, and Illium Litho sat forever on the stores without selling out. Now with such an accesable store, they go like candy. How interesting.

EA Store wasn't available for international customers. This may have kept many from buying: just have a look at me and tennyochan - she (edit: please excuse my mistake) openly confessed that she's from Australia and I know that I'm from Germany, I won't look up others only for their locations.

Also, once we had the pre-ME2 phase. That's when I bought Illium, and Citadel (more like the day it was released in the US but I guess, everyone else played ME2 then and had no time for shopping). Only the core was occupied with ME then and only those from the core bought lithographs because only they knew. (The core includes those that also used/read the former BW forums.) Now, people are occupied with ME2, first because of the game, at the moment because of the DLC. When one's interested, one is eager to buy merchandise. Once one is interested no more, one sells stuff. Also a sequel to an already established world/setting usually draws more attention.
---
A limit on lithographs is an option, but not when it's announced in the public. Because then, the gold diggers will try to get their hands on the lithographs first. To the human mind, a pre-announced limit only limits stuff even more, makes it even more adorable. 300 already is hard, but 2...  at the moment, you can buy 300 as a single person - in your mind, it's safe - like a padding. But with 2, there hardly is any padding. (Just a guess, cannot explain it, but to my mind, it's a logical conclusion.)

Long post, few content.

Absolutely! However, I don't think it'll be an enforceable restriction. Some folks on the internet can change identities like most people change shoes.
