I say this as someone who owns all the lithos, so it's not a missed opportunity spurring me on, I just would like to see people that really want them to treasure them get them, instead of people who don't care about the art or the game and just want to make a buck.

I feel pretty much the same.  I'd much rather see a devoted fan have them than a wave of ebay sellers.  Alas, greed is too rampant for that to truly happen.

Let's see... could I use the Citadel litho in my cube at work. Yes, yes I can. You shall be mine, oh yes, you shall be mine.

We're also working on more character Lithographs for the next round. I'm pushing hard for Tali.

I just decided to go back and read through the entire thread tonight and when I read that....  you became my hero Jedi Image IPB

Ahh, what I would do for a Tali or Joker lithograph.

Got a package with a batch of the 4 latest lithos today. I have to say, this new flat packaging is a lot better. The lithos have survived a 7000km journey rather well, with only minor deformities (lower right corners are only slightly bent).

Anyhow, eagerly awaiting the next batch of lithos and hoping one of them will be a Tali one :)

What I'd love to see is a Legion or Tali litho, I might actually buy one of those...

any idea what the Four new Lithos will be yet, I got my Collectors in the mail the other day and it was bent but not creased so I'm trying to flatten it.

so far I have TIM, Jack, Garrus, Afterlife and Collectors. Would love to find the other four I am missing; Illium, Citadel, Minuteman and Omega

Illium, Minuteman, and Omega are likely out of your reach unless you're willing to drop a few hundred bucks on ebay. You might get lucky and be able to grab a Citadel during the final release within the next month or so. As far as what the other 4 will be, i doubt Jedi will spoil it until a few days before release...yaaaaaaaaay hype/tension

Actually, on that note, a lithograph of the massacre at Akuze or something along those lines would be interesting, as that was my Shep's background story.  I don't really have an idea what Akuze is like so it would be an interesting surprise.

And I'm really hoping I can grab one of the leftover TIM lithos.

Dsurian, I pretty much completely agree with your post. I'm still kicking myself for missing Illium (and Citadel before the re-release was announced). I wish I had the money to properly frame the lithos I have, but believe me I'll be taking care of them for a long time...

Uhg, I'm dying to hear what the last 4 lithos are going to be! I want Tali, Earth, Bekenstein, and Normandy. Ya, that would be awesome.

So I finally received my Garrus lithograph, but it's obvious he'd been rolled in a previous life. He's got a number of wrinkles and marks on him. I'm really disappointed.  But given the fact that there were only 7 left, and I was lucky enough to get one, should I even be complaining about this? I mean , what can they do about it? There aren't any more left. :(

Have any of you had success getting the wrinkles out of your lithograph? If so, how did you do it?

I also received my garrus in this state from the seller i purchased him on ebay.

If someone could let us know a successfull way to un-wrinkle the lithos that would be great.

I've only ordered lithos from Bioware, but had a similar issue with another print. Just sandwich it between a couple pieces of cardboard, then put some textbooks or something heavy on top, then leave it for a few hours.

The seller stated that he received it from bioware in that same condition he sold it to me in and I've heard of others who got it from bioware the same way because they may have rolled it too tight for shipping.

Thanks for the tip, it has been flattening for a week now but I'll add more weight to it.

I received my Garrus litho directly from the Bioware store and it's not the only one I've gotten from them that arrived in this condition. Don't get me wrong, the majority of my lithographs have arrived in perfect shape, but I just don't understand how anyone at the Bioware store could think sending a wrinkled lithograph would be acceptable.

Stardazzled mentioned something about ironing her Litho's once. Not sure exactly how she managed this as moisture will certainly ruin the paper, while massive amounts of heat likely will as well. If there are no 'wrinkles' and its just used to being 'rolled up', i would assume pressure over time or simply framing it will work...but if their are obvious wrinkles in the paper, simple pressure will likely not matter; it may flatten it, sure, but marks will likely remain where the wrinkles were. Hopefully star will comment what her methods were or what she meant...

I actually like the idea; nothing better than a good perspective shot.  Similar to my earlier proposal concerning the Normandy (the SR-1/2 and an Alliance fleet vs. Geth fleet)...or, Cmdr. Shepard and 2 squad mates in a pitched battle on the plains of some barren wasteland against a Thresher maw?  Art like that on your wall will really draw attention and get visiting people asking "Whats that?" and then que the enjoyment of explaining it...glee incarnate.

About Ironing;
i've ironed Standard A3 paper before...
you'll have to have a non-water leaking clean iron and a standard-sturdy ironboard(so it doesnt sink/indent by the irons weight)...
-i sandwiched the paper between another 2(1 ontop and bottom) or you could use a thin white cloth/clothing first(if your worried about the iron being to hot).
-Put the iron on the lowest setting and test the heat out.
-Test it on another printed form incase the print rubs off/the irons to hot.
-If its all okay without the paper sticking or melting your good to go. just make sure your ironing strokes doesnt let the iron 'sit' in one spot to long.
-/if it doesnt seem to be doing anything remove the cloth or use a thinner material/Paper. Make sure its at its lowest heat. if its still not working turn it up just abit -do the testing phase again.

Note: do so at your own risk! i havent ironed a lithograph before but i would think it would have more resistance because of the thicker paper weight.. I've iron my pencil artwork that i fully creased down the middle...a on purpose folding a A4 down the middle type of crease like your going to rip it into 2) LOL

Just what Tenny said. You have to be really careful and remember to turn off the steam. I tried several papers as in-betweens and the whole process was trial-and-error. And don't iron the front, it's always front down. If you're not absolutely sure about it: don't do it! Risks are too high. I could ask a professional restorer for other ways, though. Maybe he knows less dangerous procedures. A man who usually restores paintings from the 16th century should know how to handle lithographies. Image IPB

As previously mentioned, I was one of the lucky seven who were able to place an order for the final Garrus litho prints. Last week, I received an email from a BioWare Store employee, stating that print I ordered was the final print. Unfortunately, the specific print was previously rolled to be shipped in a cardboard tube. As was common for many of the prints shipped this way, the litho had been rolled too tightly and thus incurred damage (e.g. creases from being rolled and some edge damage).

I was given the option to cancel my order and receive a full refund, or accept the order as is. Understanding the limited nature of these prints and seeing that the only other way to receive one would be through eBay, I opted to keep my order.

@tennyochan & stardazzled Thank you guys for laying out a couple best practices for ironing out lithograph creases. Depending on the severity of the damage, I may or may not go this route, but it is always nice to know that there is the option.

This next tid bit is specifically for Jedi and the BioWare Store. I recently purchased a limited laser cell print off from the guys at Penny Arcade. Below I've included images for how the print was shipped:
Image IPB
This image shows how the laser cell print was shipped flat, very similar to the new method that the BioWare Store has adopted.
Image IPB
This image also shows the outer packaging, clearly depicting how the outer edges are sealed with the packing tape.
Image IPB
This final image show the actual print, which arrives prematted and sealed in in an additional protective pastic wrap.

I received the print in perfect condition - ready to be thrown in a frame.

While this specific print costs 3x as much as the lithographs sold in the BioWare Store, I feel the additional matting alone makes it worth it. It may only be a dream, but I would love if the BioWare Store would offer the option to mat lithographs at an additional cost. It is a price I'd strongly consider paying.

^I'm worried about plastic and paper... if left in the sun or in hot tempertures during transit the paper and foam inside could warp or 'sweat'...

Swiftfix - Noted on the Penny Arcade packaging technique. I'll speak with our warehouse and also look into a matted option.

I should have an ETA and confirmation on the final 4 Lithographs this week.
