I'm looking into why Lithographs were released today and if we even them in stock. I'll get back with you tomorrow.

Update - There was an error by a new employee who was suppose to reduce inventory for the BioWare Bazaar prizes. The inventory was increased which is why people where able to purchase the Lithographs this afternoon. I will update later tomorrow or Thursday on whether any of these orders will be shipped. We will not bill or approve any of today's Lithograph orders until we have our inventory situtation corrected. Our apologies for the mistake.

Thanks,

Thanks for the info, Jedi.  Nice to have the Art section of the store cleaned up now, at least...

That being said it seems the demon of power was printed at 300.  I remember price of power being 400 but I could be wrong.

So, since at least two other ME2 Litho's were listed as being greater in number than the DA:O Litho's (Arch Demon - 350, and Pride Demon - 350), it seems illogical to argue that the number of Litho's printed is the reason two of the DA:O Litho's are still in stock compared to ME2 which is your implied argument as my less-than-sober-mind understands it.

Thank you Jedi. >_> Thought I had a shot at a Garrus one, but I guess I am not destined to have that one.

@Dsurian I think Collectors is out of 300, Illium was out of 300, Saren out of 100 (but only 75 sold?), I think Afterlife was out of 300, Illusive Man out of 400, Garrus out of 300, Citadel out of 400, Minuteman out of 300, Omega out of 300, and I think Jack is out of 300 as well (still waiting on that one in the mail). So, mostly 300 for each. Most of this is from memory, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Out of 100
1.  Saren

Out of 300
1.  Collectors
2.  Illium
3.  Afterlife
4.  Omega
5.  Garrus
6.  Minuteman
7.  Jack (probable)

Out of 400
1.  The Illusive Man
2.  Citadel

Edit:  Just put it in list form since writing it out seemed messy and incomprehendable.

Yes, it does seem illogical to argue that stand point and that was never my "end all be all" reason.  In fact, I was just stating it in my original post.  My bad, I didn't realize TIM had 400 prints and Citadel is no longer listed in the store so I had no way of checking.

As I stated in my first post, DA looks to be less popular than ME lithos.

My original post:

"Unless I am mistaken DA:O lithos were printed in a greater number.  I do
agree with you that ME is the more popular of the two but, not all
ME lithos sold out in days.  Certain ones were less popular than the
others."

To be fair I'd like the orders cancelled personally. Even if there are only a few orders it will obviously affect the future release of the lithos that are held back. It was a mistake on your end and an unannounced event. To be fair too everyone who are waiting for the held back litho release too snag one they missed, the orders should be cancelled.

Just because Bioware's store guy posts on the forums doesn't mean he has to announce the exact date and time when things are going to be available for purchase. I don't see how it's "fair" to cancel these orders if they actually have the stock (which are, as others have pointed out, most likely the damaged prints that people chose to cancel).

People...just go to sleep and wait for Jedi's update. For all we know, most (if not all) of the 'in stock' Litho's that were sold earlier today could possibly not even exist. I'm mostly considering this because Jedi said the employee was reducing Lithos in-stock due to the shipments for the Bazaar - theoretically not even having anything to do with the Bioware Store's site (which makes me wonder why it was even altered), with much less credit going along with the idea that the amount of Litho's in-stock increased.  If these Lithos do exist, though, I'm inclined to agree with Kilrogg, in that even though there wasn't an annoucement, it was still set up fairly on a first come first serve basis and likely the dedicated fanbase still got them.

I completely agree with you Kilrogg, Jedi gives us all a heads up and has been really punctual about it, but I think we all need to remember, it's a courtesy, there is no "official announcement" or press release going on here, they could just put up lithos and whoever get's there first get's them, and that would be completely understandable for them to do.

I admit I sometimes rely too much on Jedi, and if I don't see a post from him with an update, I occasionally don't bother checking the store that day, but I'm fully prepared to accept it as my own fault if something goes up for sale without a Jedi update and I miss it.  It wouldn't be right for me to get another chance at the cost of having someone who happened to catch it on the store site and put in an order, lose thier order.   Assuming it is in stock and all that and it wasn't just a glitch or big screwup.

^ i really rely on Jedi for updates. Since I'm an international buyer they could go up and i wont be aware of it till 8-10hrs after. being hotcakes, i could miss out. (lucky i wasn't intersted in the re-releases )
boo!
But if i do miss out, It'll be fair....I'll just throw a 'little' tantrum.

Just a quick answer without quoting anyone:

DA: O lithos: Price of Power 400, Arch Demon and Pride Demon 350 (39 and 306, jfyi, we all know that the numbers seem to have no meaning).

ME2 lithos: Illium, Garrus, Jack, Minuteman, Omega, Afterlife, Collectors 300; Citadel and TIM 400 (I forgot to check the numbers on TIM and Afterlife before they went to the storage. The others are listed in my inventory.)

So, I do see an intention there.

New store inventory is always mentioned on the Twitter feed, often with a certain delay. (Thank god for the delay.) Can't blame Mr. Priestly for that. When he mentions it elsewhere on the forums in timely manner, he usually only gets comments like: nice, but we want new DLC/new patch. The dedicated people lurk around here and the store staff knows it.

I really wish you all would stop talking about the "dedicated fanbase" being the ones to get lithos as they come out especially for re-releases. I can't speak for others but personally I work 2 jobs neither of which allows me internet access at work. I check these forums nearly every day despite my limited time with access to the internet and usually check the store every day or every other. Even when I do get to check the store sometimes items are not yet posted when I do but get posted when I'm at work for the day. When this happens things can easily sell out before I ever regain access to the internet and things can be missed very easily. Despite this I have every single litho for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and even Dragon Age with the exception of TIM. Being able to log into the store and hit refresh every 5 minutes does NOT make you a "dedicated fan" it just means you're lucky enough to have more access to the internet than other fans.

I do agree that missing out on TIM is not anyone else's fault but repeatedly seeing people refer to the "dedicated fans" getting them just pisses me off. As for the idea that the orders should be canceled because the release was in error I don't agree with that no I wasn't able to obtain a TIM or even know they had been accidentally released until long after it had been corrected so I missed a chance there again as well so I'm not simply worried about my order being canceled (i didn't make an order). The only reason anyone could even hope for the orders to be revoked is to save face with the customers since a bioware employee said they would announce the release ahead of time. However unless I'm mistaken Jedi probably isn't high enough up on the food chain for Bioware to really really care if people are upset about it. If anything I feel bad for Jedi because someone else's mistake could cause people to be upset with him.

My Garrus lithograph arrived today. After my dialog with the BioWare Store rep last week and having seen images of lithos damaged from being rolled, I was nervous about what I'd find between the two slabs of cardboard and styrofoam.

Much to my surprise, the litho arrived in near mint condition. It was obvious that it had once been rolled as the heavy stock paper had a wavy arc to it, but there was only one very small, hardly noticeable crease in the upper left hand corner of the image. Once matted and framed, no one will be any the wiser. I am very happy and fortunate with the purchase.

If my words hurt you, I'm sorry. I didn't mean them to be hurting. By "dedicated" I mean the people that look forward to announcements and do not react towards them with: nice, but bring on the patches. And then get prissy about it. I mean those ones that are interested in merchandise and regard it differently. I was so "lucky" (debateable) to be sick at home when the lithographies hit the shelfs, although I would have prefered to be at work and miss some lithos instead of having to wait another year for my exam.

To look for announcements in the right place, and appreciate them, to not counter them with whining... that is dedicated to me. Not the boys and girls that skip work or school to be able to play/buy something. And also not the ones that pay a large sum for something. Dedicated is not necessarily someone who owns all lithographies, it's someone who cares about them regardless of owning them or not.

Well, am I glad that I got every litho but Illium on release day... Too much drama now. I only check this topic and only every 3-4 days, but even with that any announcement or heads up is usually at least a 2-3 day warning. Can anyone give me a quote on how much it costs to matte a litho of this size? Also, agreeing with stardazzled and Kilrogg... Jed only recently started announcing store updates and now they are being taken for granted. I ended up being at school when the Citadel re-release went up and I still got them within quite a few hours after the store updated.

Dear SiD the Turtle,

We have had a system failure here that caused us to
oversell on our
lithographs.  As you know, these are limited editions and we are
completely sold out.

We are sorry to tell you that we will not be able to fulfill your
order.  Your card will not be charged and we will close this order in
our system.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and apologize for the
confusion.

Best,

BWS

:(

Well I suppose it was a long shot.

Well, Jedi said a while ago that he should have information and an ETA on the last 4 lithos sometime last week, and he said a further while back that they would be releasing in May. All that considered, it shouldn't be long now before he can pass that information along to us. I hope anyway.
