I just want to say thanks to Jed and the BioWare Store team for their effort to improve the products and the way they handle them. I received my flat-box shipped litho today, it was absolutly beautiful in mint condition (which is sad to say is better condition than my replacement lithos).

Thank you BioWare Store! I love my Lithos!

Also got mine today in the flat box, also in fantastic, mint condition. Now just need to find a suitable frame... Thank you!

OK , I got my 3 lithos today ~ REALLY great looking and a lot bigger than I expected, but my illusive man has a small crease in the upper right corner. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I wrote through the support system but I don't feel like it's checked.

Honestly, this is why Im a bit suspect about the flat shipping.  First time around there were lots of problems due to the flat shipping.  I have received 3 that were rolled up in a hard tube and they were perfect.  Hope you get this resolved, but due to them being limited editions, and sold out, chances are there is not much to be done.  unless they have a stash on hand for such events.  BTW, my order still says pending fulfillment, but my account was charged.  i suspect that the long weekend has them playing catch up, and those of us still waiting for some type of confirmation will see that soon.

The rolled shipping caused issues with creasing. Flat shipping is definetly great. They do keep some in stock still just in case of shipping errors. They do look at the support tickets and will take care of it. I had to send a support ticket last time and got 2 lithos replaced free of charge and didn't have to return the damaged product.

To put in, mine also arrived! I was surprised, really. I had put the 5 day shipping, but it came on Priority (2 day). That was a nice surprise.

Downside: I can't see it! I was working and it was dropped with my apartments' leasing office! Hahaha, weak.

Got my Citadel, Illusive Man, and Afterlife today. All arrived in great contition. The new packaging is pretty good, however I foresee a problem with it. If the package gets wet on the sides, the lithographs are going to get wet since the edges are exposed. One of my lithographs had slid out a bit of the styrofoam, had it been wet the edge would have gotten wet.

Thanks again Bioware! Can't wait for my Collectors lithograph and the next round of lithos.

This is exactly my problem for the new packaging! I got mine yesterday right before a storm hit. If it was outside when it rained, it would've been absolutely ruined.

I know this is the improper forum and thread, but as I don't know hellhawx from anywhere else: Good luck with that amazing computer man...(Edit) and you disapear from the list...epic hellhawx ninja-hax.

*sigh*...silly tenny...i too got shipping confirmation, last night 4am est.  Still no idea what the shipping progress is like, and as it is spring and its been raining quite often around my house, I'm a wee bit paranoid since i cant seem to find out when its even going to show up at my alternate address (where i personally dont even live). : /

EDIT: though the store is still broken, i noticed a link on the right side of my email listing possibly a 2nd tracking package link...so i click it and it links me to USPS...so yay for that.  Though then again, the status is "shipment Accepted" which means absolutley nothing to me.  But oh well...i can only hope it will moove along as time goes on...

Until I see the way they are shipping the new ones, I stand by my assessment that flat shipping could be suspect. It sounds like it could be a good way, but exposed edges? GTFO! My rolled up litho's were 100% out of the tube. If you roll them up too tight, like the size of a garden hose, then yea you are asking for potential creases. Keep it loose enough so they slide into those tubes they sent, then you have a 100% protected item that you can not worry about being knocked around in shipping.

I too got a shipping conformation, so now the wait begins.

Although I haven't heard anything yet about my support case, I think that the business of shipping lithos is TOUGH to say in the least :(

Ahh, snap, you guys scared me! I live in OR, USA, where it is ALWAYS raining. Luckily my Citadel came in perfect. There were these weird little fibers all over it, probably from the styrofoam.

Anyway, I wiped it off and hung it up! Number 128/400. Sweet deal! Also, I like the new packaging, but maybe it would benefit from a quick plastic wrap, like the kind of rolls you wrap pallets with. Quick and easy.

Got my Citadel, TIM, and Afterlife today. They look great. However, they are dinged up on the side a bit (ie bent/creased) where it looks like something pushed up against the edge of them; looks kinda like this: ~u~ with the u part being where it was pushed in. Would have been prevented, I think, if the sides were enclosed and/or just entirely covered with tape, as opposed to just a bit of tape here, a bit of tape there to hold the package flat.

That said, the damage can mostly be flattened out, and since it's on the very edge, it's likely not going to be noticed once framed (and could be covered by mattboard as well).

You lucky duck with that Price of Power litho! I missed it when they were offered. :(

Also,  completely agree with the idea of wrapping the package (see my previous post right above this one).

I received my litho's today. They look fantastic. Im really digging Afterlife. IM is cool too, I wasnt aware that it was a different artist than Citadel, Omega etc... Cool concept though, I like it. The way they were shipped flat is a bit odd to me. Like others stated, its basically two pieces of Styrofoam a bit bigger than the actual prints sandwiched together, with two flat pieces of cardboard taped together. The prints are very well protected, but you can see the edges. If you are in an environment where you rely on the packaging to protect the contents 100%, this way fails bad. I mean, Im lucky I have my stuff sent to work, where we have a good crew of warehouse guys, but if you have them delivered to your house, and its foul weather, and the mailman or FedEx guy leaves them on your porch, there is a serious potential for damage. They need to shrink wrap the entire package, or slip it into another box that actually seals for this method to be fool proof. Thats aid, mine arrived fine. Keep up the good work Bioware team/artists!

Quote for truth, there needs to be something to seal the edges, the potential for damage is high. Mine was a close call as I got home from work and the package was on my porch. A half hour later it started to rain, if I was not there it would've been ruined.

Dont get me wrong, I hope my posts about this are not taken as just another dude complaining. I just love the Mass Effect universe, and the lithographs are really awesome in my opinion. I remember searching this forum when i first discovered them, and reading that the first batch that were shipped had a really high amount of damage to them, because they just put them in a box. Literally flat, in a box. I dont want any of us to experience this.

I think Bioware has done a great job of listening to everyone's feedback, but there are still some things they need to tweak. I know they are trying to keep shipping costs down but a little would go a long way to avoid having to replace people's damaged items. I should know as I had a poster replaced 3 times because of damage on each shipment.

I agree, and kudos BWSS for listening and responding to our suggestions. :D Just got my lithographs and also agreed with the many sentiments about wrapping the edges of the packaging. It can be easily exposed to rain.  Luckily the weather has held up so far, and that I was also at home.

Hopefully BWSS will tweak their flat shipping method a bit more, but it is definitely a better process than those narrow tubes. Thanks BWSS!!!

well, if they are listening, I hope they figure out a way to cover the edges as mentioned, and to use better/more tape to strap the cardboard pieces together. There was only 4 pieces and they were literally held together by a thread (some type of fiber based strapping tape) on 3 of the sides. But, the Lithographs are awesome! cant wait to get these into a frame. Not sure how the wife is going to take this. She disliked the Citadel litho, but liked the Omega and Minuteman. Hmmm, she seems to be inconsistent.....go figure

I use a lot of that fiber-based packing tape at work, and I can safely say that it's only going to fail in transit is if it gets cut. That stuff is a royal pain to try and tear by hand. The rest of the concerns are legit though, a fully enclosed box is definitely needed in some cases.

yea, you are probably right about the tape, Im just being overly critical.  It was odd though, because the tape was already torn up a bit, and the threads were what was really holding it together.

I was surprised to receive my litho's today.  I got the shipping confirmation on monday, adn from Coloradeo to San francisco only took two days.  FTW!
