ummm so noone has found the rest of the blackblade armor?

Nope. I thoroughly explored the mines, and came out missing the boots and gloves. I did find a few darkspawn that had empty "containers" when I looted them. I wonder if they were supposed to be there.

Might be another "Ancient Elven Boots" type bug.

Just throwing this out there has anyone managed to get onto the roof of the gaurd house? there are two chests up there and it's probably the only area I have not checked for the Blackblade gloves and boots.

havent gotten on the roof and the boots and gloves are what im needing also....probally have to side with the smugglers to get to the roof. As too the Lorekeepers robe drops off the Apostate for the chantry quest

^^ are you certain about that because ive killed him like 7 times and not once did he drop it, is there a required difficulty?

it didnt drop my first playthrough and i recall being upset because i felt there should have been something on him. then my second playthrough it dropped positive it was the last guy in that quest because of the first playthough

idk all he drops for me is enchanters staff and a couple of poultices and ive killed him 3 times on nightmare just to see, maybe i just have bad luck =(

hmm...my first playthrough was a hard mode this current playthrough is easy that it dropped on dont worry too much though im posting a screen of the stats....they suck

No i did the apostates then anders quest cause i knew i'd end the apostates one right by his quest.

EDIT: Now back on topic someone find me the Blackblade boots and gloves! My next playthough is my Dalish rogue....

i can confirm that the blackblade gloves and boots are NOT up in the guard house

Some one on another forum said you can get the blackblade boots and gloves from the spectral dragon as a rare drop. Can anyone confirm this?

Good news I downloaded the official strat guide from prima, ( thank god for e-books). the Blackbladed gloves and boots are drum roll please, looted from a high dragon in the dragon bone wastes. enjoy

I found the complete set, and wore it myself for the last 1/3 of the game. I even wore the helmet, which I don't usually do. I thought the set was kind of ugly, though. It had a really strange look, not like armor. *shrug*

I don't remember where I found all the pieces, but I did find them.

I went back through all of the Silverite mines and couldn't find the helm. Anybody have any ideas? Does it show up earlier? Maybe I missed something in the woods...

I found the helm, and I really wish I could remember where I found it exactly. I must of found it in the silverite mine because I think I remember putting it on before leaving that place. I *think* it was dropped by the dragon -- but I could have found it before then because maybe i was wearing it during the dragon fight. Now that I think about it, I know I did definitely put 2 pieces of this armor on in the mines, and one was the helm, because I remember thinking that the armor was ugly but the helm wasn't so bad. I missed the part of the mine where the darkspwn with the wedding ring was, so it couldn't be there.

Were you able to get into the lower level of the torture room that you had to zap with the devices to get through the door with the forcefield? Maybe it was in there...

I spent a lot of time in the area of the mine where I was imprisoned because I thought my armor would be in a chest somewhere nearby. I went back up the stairs and into all cells and rooms in the immediate vicinity. Maybe look more carefully in that area.

The only other thing I can think of is if I picked it up in the forest. Before I went into the mine, I did the statue quest for Peace, but then after the statues went to sleep, I also killed the tevintar mage. Maybe the helm came from one of them?

I'm going to see if I can look at one of my saved games and see at what point it was in my inventory. BRB.
