I went back through all of the Silverite mines and couldn't find the helm. Anybody have any ideas? Does it show up earlier? Maybe I missed something in the woods...

I found the helm, and I really wish I could remember where I found it exactly. I must of found it in the silverite mine because I think I remember putting it on before leaving that place. I *think* it was dropped by the dragon -- but I could have found it before then because maybe i was wearing it during the dragon fight. Now that I think about it, I know I did definitely put 2 pieces of this armor on in the mines, and one was the helm, because I remember thinking that the armor was ugly but the helm wasn't so bad. I missed the part of the mine where the darkspwn with the wedding ring was, so it couldn't be there.

Were you able to get into the lower level of the torture room that you had to zap with the devices to get through the door with the forcefield? Maybe it was in there...

Yea, I went there... Went literally everywhere :\\\\\\\\. Sucks.

I spent a lot of time in the area of the mine where I was imprisoned because I thought my armor would be in a chest somewhere nearby. I went back up the stairs and into all cells and rooms in the immediate vicinity. Maybe look more carefully in that area.

The only other thing I can think of is if I picked it up in the forest. Before I went into the mine, I did the statue quest for Peace, but then after the statues went to sleep, I also killed the tevintar mage. Maybe the helm came from one of them?

I'm going to see if I can look at one of my saved games and see at what point it was in my inventory. BRB.

I had both the helm and the tunic in my inventory by the time I found the FIRST experimental subject that gave me Ohgren's stuff back. That means the helm had to be in the prison area or in the forest. I don't have any forest saves, unfortunately.

Thanks for the help, everyone - it was indeed in a secret room (found a 'secret door' immediately after the prison area).

At least you can collect from that Jerk Dragon I don't even get the option, is it a glitch?

It's a little disappointing how terrible most of the mage robes and sets are. Was sort of hoping for more balanced itemization (at least there IS a mage set this time...)

Was a little disappointing High Dragon didn't seem to drop anything. (That's the point of Dargonslaying, after all!)

So you have:

-Trickster for Rogues

-Blackblade for Rogues (which no one can seem to find all of)

(Worth noting that you can get a Felon's Coat by clearing the Smugglers out of their cove.)

-Sentinel armor for tank warriors (Blackmarsh, sealing the tears in the fade)

-Kal'Hirol armor (more of a DPS warrior set, have to find the pieces and fix them at the anvil)

-Lorekeeper for mages?

I also noticed a couple of ring sets mentioned. (The big +Willpower and +Spellpower rings are a set, they're amazing.)

Speaking of the Silverite Mines, did anyone manage to unlock The Architects chest in his personal quarters? The chest requires a key, however I was unable to loot the key anywhere (and I double checked everything). I'm thinking that the Quanari merchant might have it, by pickpocketing him. However none of my characters had those skills, so I wasn't able to confirm it.

Also the High Dragon in the Dragon graveyard dropped no loot for me. Seems you have to do this encounter several times perhaps, in order to get the rest of the Bladeback set.

Yeah, the High Dragon didn't drop anything for me either. It would really suck if you got the last pieces from him anyway... You'd only get to wear the set for what? 20 minutes?

Also, the last Malificar didn't drop the Lorekeeper Robes for me(even if they do suck).

The High Dragon didn't drop the Blackblade gloves and boots for me, either, and I've now killed her twice. Is this a percentage drop, or is it a bug like the Ancient Elven boots? Has anyone on a PC had the Blackblade gloves and boots drop from the High Dragon yet?

I mean, if they are there I'll keep trying because I like the look of the armour even I'll be wearing it for less than an hour. If it's a bug I'll just resign myself to Rainswept with the Ferret Gloves and Wolf Boots for now. (Not a set, as such, but they match visually.)

Well someone in this thread mentioned getting the full set, but couldn't quite remember where the gloves and boots dropped. It's possible they just have a very low chance of dropping on easy/normal difficulty, like some of the items in the original game.

I'm playing on Nightmare, but I do take your point. It's entirely possible that they're rare drops even on the highest difficultly level.

I was given a key by Velanna's sister so I assume that must have been the key. I have max lock-picking though so I don't pay attention to whether or not I used keys or just opened it myself... The chest contained:

Dragonspite.
Shortbow, Vhenadahl (Tier 8)
Requires: 34 Dexterity
Damage: 8.50
Crit Chance: 1.7%
Armor Pen: 7.50
Range: 28
Strength Modifier: 1
+4 Damage
Rapid Aim
Reduces Hostility
+10 attack
+20 damage vs. dragons

On a semi-related note, as anyone found the Lorekeepers Robe? I've found the hat, mittens and shoes, but the robe wasn't in the same area.

I got the Lorekeepers set in the same chest on my game.

I was the one who mentioned having the full set, but I just loaded the game again, and I realized that I DID NOT have the full set. I had the two pieces, and then I used boots and gloves that matched the set visually, but weren't the official pieces. The pieces looked so much like a set that I had forgotten by the end of the game that I wasn't wearing an actual set.

My deepest apologies for providing incorrect information.

The latest update posted on the official Awakenings Wiki has just the helm and chest piece. There are no gauntlets or boots. Image IPB

Could you tell us the name of the boots and gloves that match the set?
I don't care about the set bonus... I just want a good pair of black-tinted leather gloves and boots!

well honestly, the trickster and blackblade sets - as far as what ive seen do not convince me at all.... i think there are much better single items for rogues, and the nimble set for a archer is much better (from a rogue set i expect +crit chance/dam +cunning +dex +evasion and such things) so not to disappointed, besides the sets still look ugly as hell... and the lorekeeper set is just plain bad...

thats how a rogue is supposed to look like:

http://i853.photobuc...84/assassin.jpg

besides, the dragon is lootable, but didnt give me the items - you just need to wait about 1 minute then you can loot it

I used The Slippery Ferret's Gloves and Feet of the Nimble. Looked fine, IMO.
