That's a helluva long OP and well worthy the reading! =)

Any chance you can adapt the Trailer Edition Mod to your project? At least the best parts of it, like Sten and Leliana's Face and the Armor that she wears in my vids? The rest of it is cool but I don't use the other  items, too overpowered and I prefer Morrigan's original head instead. (plus it's a bit troublesome to restore the original heads with that mod. Toolset is needed for that.)

This is the video that the modder, Wabfloyd, made to show his work. Best DA video ever, imho! And there's no Leliana like that, to me! (some BW guy was pretty impressed by it and send to all his colleagues in BW... said so in project comments. I drool every time I watch this!)

And these are from one of my vids with her.

Yup, Trailer Edition Mod despite being an old mod, is to this day the definitive head morph mod (IMO) for Sten, Lel, and Morrigan.

I can't see how you could possibly like original Morrigan vs the mod's Morrigan. Original doesn't even look realistic; I think it's only slightly better than DAA heads (this is not a compliment). I can no longer picture Morrigan in any way other than the mod's interpretation.

Unfortunately that mod's Morrigan head clips with her default hair when she smiles. LOL her face cracks when she tries to act friendly! x-D But I just switch her to the Elvira hair once her approval is up, and that fixes it.

I don't see why you need Redesigned to incorporate it, though. Just cut/paste the appropriate files yourself. It's difficult for mod authors to find each other and get permission; the Trailer Edition mod author has long since vanished.

Dunno, I just think she's more beautiful with the orignal head. There's something about her that makes me go "wow"!

I asked about incorporating it because I'm having some serious incompatibility bugs with an Official DLC and an Official Expansion! So I thought that some incompatibility might exist when using two mods that change heads and stuff. Aw, frak it. English is not my language and everytime I try to explain something I end up doing that "The Pellet with the Poison" thing, so bear with me!

Original Morrigan has something snake-like in her due to both the features and the eyes. It's not the "classic pretty" sort of look but it can definitely click with some people, i have hard time finding a good replacement for it myself. There's one mod on dragonagenexus which did work for me but can no longer find it.

@RageGT

I probably would not be implementing that mod in here.

There are redesigns of the companions of the original companions in Dragon Age Redesigned, including a redesign of Morrigan which is modeled after Victoria Johnson, the real-life model who worked with Bioware for the role of Morrigan.

Petehog, but would they be compatible? Can I keep Leliana and Sten heads from Trailer Editon, original Morrigan and specially, the armor from that mod if I use yours for the rest of the world?

You know, I like those Maxim's girls and all but it's just like when I fell in love with my lady here. I can still appreciate beauty and sure, your girls are gorgeous, but those are not the woman that I fell in love with and want to romance everyday! (talking about my wife who's right behind me =)

Anyway, I can't imagine anyone else going thru this with me and a different look would just not be the same person!

RageGT, if you don't install the companion installer, it does not install that companion.

Heh..sounds like he's just tyring to prmoote his mod. Personally I like your Leliana Version 9 better than his.

Enough said.

Well he has a valid concern. It's a matter of familiarity. If you have seen the same face, you lose immersion when you see a different face. I think he just doesn't want anything overwritten.

It's not my mod! But my videos, yeah, the more views the merrier =) - and the video I linked first is not mine either. It says there, it's the modder, Wabfloyd, showing his very well known mod too, still in the first page of projects. (in part because of all promotion I gladly give it with my vids, to express my gratitude)

Plus, a huge amount of the comments on my vids is "What armor is that and where can I get it?" And "How does your Sten has a goatie?"

And I liked very much what I saw in the OP and everything that makes Origins a bit better and fresh is welcome. I will most certainly try this, both for origins and Awakening. Just want to keep the one trademark of my videos and make sure that there won't be compatibility issues. And if I can promote it on YouTube, it will be my pleasure!

Not to be the stick in the mud here, but I think it looks a lot like you simply made a bunch of female characters more attractive (or at least, more barbiesque). While some of the original faces look a little strange, I think there's a good reason to have both ugly and beautiful characters, most being somewhere in between (like real life you know).

Not a problem.

Lore version is the one you want. You get no attractive women in that one. Just better proportions. It's hardcore realism despite how ugly I personally think it is. The pretty girls you are seeing are only in the Aesthetics version. I made different versions for different people.

Looks like a bloody zombie.    That or he is baked outside his freeking mind, and spent Zero time outside in any sun.

I have finished the design for Constable Aidan, as you have requested. I will work on the Private and the Baroness next.

Some are more beautiful but I find this mod stays true to what was intended to begin with in the first place. I'm not a big fan of over-beautification myself but this is more about facial symmetry then grossly altering features.

I'm thinking right now there wasn't much effort put into the design of most NPCs in Awakenings so this effort is very much appreciated. Some people are more visually inclined then others and while some might not see or understand the difference such a mod makes, trust me when I say it can enhance the experience a lot to see faces that are better 'weighed'. Instead of caricatures of people, which is what vanilla DA is to me, this redesign let's me see a representation of who these people are supposed to be.

That picture is outdated. I actually made the skin the same color in "Recommended"  The new version is the image below.

Below, you can see that the detail of the eyes are more realistic, the jaw and head structure is more proportionate and he has a more unique facial appearance.

I downloaded the new version of your mod, with Awakening added. I'm very pleased with your work, everything looks great. One thing I noticed, though. The new Varel seems to have an issue with his beard. I can see his chin clipping through it. Other than that, fabulous job.

@Aislinn, I will take a look into that. That Duncan beard is indeed very stubborn.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is a new update I added. It fixes Lilith. She should now match her voice in terms of her age. I felt the Vanilla design was a bit too young. She sounds much, much older.

==>This will be in the next version but for now here is the age fix for Lilith. This makes Lilith match her voice and should add more to the immersion for Dragon Age Awakening.

After playing awakening a bit more, I think generally the staff in the interior of the keep needs touch-up sides for the ones you already did. My comment's pointed mostly at Woolsey, that elf ambassador, and the merchant.

-Woolsey: her face just seems stretched for no particular reason

-Merchant in the corner: he looks tougher then most of the soldiers around, but sounds like a shrewd 17-25 year old

-Ambassador: her cheekbones are pointed outward in an odd angle, and her eyelashes seem really strange to me, not sure if its just me or not

-Dwarves: the dwarves in general in this expansion are all red-head and tanned, it doesnt reflect what any of the other dwarves in origins look like, even the surface ones are paler.
